thank you so much!! I used koala as the sampler , soooo worth the $5 it literally does everything. You can import files or record directly from the phones internal audio and load them onto a pad / sequence the noises live. Which is sooo crazy lol. I didn’t use it for that song in particular but all my other iPhone music 🎵 ive used an app called Spire which is just like a basic multi track recorder. Pretty much like u can layer voice memos essentially. U can only mix like, volume levels on Spire w the free version but I love having weird limitations like that hahaha. Having koala now feels insane that’s one of the first songs I made with it …

We basically recorded a 30min tape live and then the e mix is how ethan chopped it / added songs we’ve done outside of that tape specifically and then the k mix is my cut

But as a result I literally I figured out a new way to make music on my phone and was somehow able to make this song in like 5-10 mins out of samples from a Duster song isn’t that fucked up. I constructed a way to record samples directly through Spotify and onto a sampling / sequencing app 📑 now it’s maybe too easy to make music now.
