“That would probably work, yeah.” “:Alright, here’s the plan. We’re gonna fly you two out of here and back to the country I live in, and get you back to your mom. Sound good?:”
Whitmore could feel fiery hot talons rip at the edges of his mind. A demonic presence.
A voice spoke from the shadows.
They squeaked. “H-he-hel-lo?” He was shaking. It isn’t him. It isn’t. He wouldn’t- he didn’t do that, he wouldn’t just-
"Yay, violence, the solution of all of life’s problems. Anyways come on, go to your private jet or something. To the phillipenes!”
“To the Philippines!” He teleported all the way there, to a secluded spot near the co-ordinates of the building. He changed his form into a small lizard and climbed up the wall to listen in.
Virus metaphorically blinked when that happened. “Forgot you can do that.”
Meanwhile, in the building, there were loud shouts and yelling, including some squawks of birds.
He grit his teeth and moved closer, trying to find a window. “How suspicious would it he if these two died?” He was definitely tempted to do something.
Y’know, maybe the fact that he could actually protect someone instead of having to just grin and bear it has made him a little impatient…
Virus let out a little hum. “Not that suspicious... you know, if you wanted to do something, Hex wouldn’t suspect you if that’s what you’re thinking.”
Soft sobs could be heard.
“Let it out.”
He froze. They wouldn’t suspect him, and that means… He could do something. He could DO SOMETHING
He fucking snapped.
Whitmore teleported in, returning to his normal form, and smashed one of them in the head, turning to the other and snarling.
They couldn’t hack him.
He was in control.
“WHOOHOO! That’s what I’m talking about! I knew there was some potential in there! Wanna bring in the heat?” Whitmore could feel his hands get hotter.
“Perks of being part demon.”
“Yes.” He grabbed the other’s throat, his hand heating up until their throat burned open, their head and body dropping to the ground.
He breathed heavily, slowly calming. “I….” He just killed someone. Two someones. He…
“WHOOO! Christ man, knew you can be deadly but not this deadly! Maybe you should let your anger out more, haha. Anyways, the kids?”
Vi pointed to the two small peafowl looking birds. Both had fear in their eyes, looking at Whitmore.
Th-the kids- oh, oh no he shouldn’t have… He got onto one knee, trying to seem less intimidating. “:It’s ok.. I won’t hurt you. I’m sorry I scared you.:”
The looked at each other, huddling close.
“So uh... How we getting these kiddos back?”
The bigger, male one, opened his beak. “Hello...?”
“That… that I will figure out in a moment. I do ave some ideas..” He muttered quietly, thinking. “:Hello. I’m Whitmore, it’s nice to meet you! I want to get you somewhere safe. Somewhere where people won’t hurt you.:”
The two kids looked at each other before backing away slightly, unwilling to trust again.
The smaller, colourful one extended a wing to touch Whitmore.
He gave them a soft smile, touching the very end of it with his own hand. “:Please..:”
The younger one walked up to Whitmore, noticing the softness in his touch while the older one was still nervous. He stood up, motioning for Whitmore to go and lead the way, but still not touching him.
He gave the younger one a gentle hug. “:I’ll keep you safe, I promise.:” He released them, standing to his feet. Now he just had to get them home… “Virus, you have any ideas?”
Virus internally shrugged. “I have no fucking clue. Take a plane? It’d take some time but since you have money, smuggling in these kids would be easy to do, especially if they’re compliant.”
