          “I like to think of them as more of a guide.” Sora said, tipping her head to the side. “It just... uh... gets a little intense sometimes, that’s all!” Though even she would admit she had a tendency to follow her emotions over any rational kind of thinking-- sometimes her instincts were just too strong to ignore.

          Like when she’d been unable to stop herself from chasing after a flock of pigeons for half an hour, just now. 

          “.... I think I swallowed a few feathers.”

“Uh-huh, I’m sure,” he nodded a few times, his mind already made up as his arms moved next to wrap around his sister’s neck, so he could cuddle closer to her. Xinfu might have not been tired, but once they were comfortably nested he could sleep at any time.

“Mmmm, we can play later. When sissy feels better,” he nodded once more.

          “Oh, Xinfu... I’m not feeling sick or anything, just a little tired.” So young, and he was already trying to take care of her... it made her feel a little bad. At his age he shouldn’t be worrying about stuff like that.

          “If you feel like playing you can, you don’t have to rest with me if you’re not tired, okay?” Not that she minded his company of course, but she didn’t want him to spend time laying around if he wasn’t really feeling like it.

“Cute, you have the gift of foresight, evidently.” Jason rolls his eyes upward as he turns away from her, already bored with her presence. “If you knew all along, then why did you stick around? Were you hoping for a different outcome?”

The temptation of attacking her is strong, but Jason is able to control himself, at least for a little while longer. Doing away with her completely isn’t entirely off the table, there may be room for that yet. Though, not now. “Run along, shoo. You bore me.”

          “I was curious, duh.” There were so many things that were just plain weird about him that meant of course she had to follow him around for a bit. Thinking back on it now, she still wasn’t sure what had drawn her to him in the first place. 

          “I mean, you smell weird, you look kinda weird, you act weird, I thought about biting you a few times... y’know, just stuff that makes me curious.” She tipped her head to the side and gazed at him, clearly not even thinking about obeying his command.

No sunbeam needed for warmth. Not with Kyuushi. Her seven tails wrapping around them both, the ends alight with a small blue ethereal flame, providing warmth without any risk of fire. 

          “Oh...! That’s so pretty!” Sora had never seen a Kitsune with more than one tail out, and was surprised by the sudden display. Still, the tails were warm and soft, and she was happy to settle down and get cozy.

          She wrapped her own big fluffy tail around the both of them, purring contentedly.

“Mmmmm.. I’m a little tired,” he nodded, reaching his hands up to gently begin patting at his sister’s cheeks. It was a small lie, Xinfu wasn’t tired at all, but he could tell his sister was in need of some cuddle time..

“Sissy, take nappy with me?”

          Tired... really? He didn’t look very tired-- and he’d run over to her like he had all the energy in the world just a second ago. She frowned, looking a bit puzzled. Was this his way of trying to get her to rest?

          “Uhm.. well.. we could, I suppose...” She said slowly. “Are you sure you wouldn’t rather play?”

@starscrxssed​  Incoming Xinfu! He's running, but the moment he gets to her side he sticks his arms out, and drops himself down onto his butt. "Sissy!"

          “Xinfu!” Even if she’s feeling tired, she can’t help but try and appear at least a little energetic for her younger brother. Smiling, she scooped him up into her arms and gave him a kiss on the cheek. 

          “How are you doing today?”
