unless you have the original picture of the thing that actually causes us immense fear and discomfort, sometimes to the point of nausea, it really has nothing to do with submechanophobia at all and can come off as slightly insensitive. Maybe the best tag for that would be #animatronics

My tumblr isn't set up yet but I'm basically migrating to tumblr and dropping all other forms of social media for a while due to one specific alter constantly starting online arguments despite me being terrified of confrontation. (slowly getting better at it.) It can be mentally exhausting having to backtrack on previous posts he would make, oe having to delete an account and make a new one because that's all that account would turn into. The main reason why we thought Tumblr would be the best option for him was because it's less filled with dumb bigots and bullies than Tiktok and Twitter.

but anyways, wheeeeee, hi, this is how we'll introduce ourselves. We are the nexus system (unsure if everyone agrees upon the name yet) and I'm currently (not sure if the others know yet) in the process of being diagnosed by a psychologist, and are dealing with the stress and anxiety of realizing we werent faking the entire time (basically traumatized by fakeclaimers) and also just realizing that I've had symptoms throughout my entire life (Me, the host, often switches between I and we, please don't beat me down about this, I'm still coming to terms)

So like, if any of yall have suggestions/advice for a nippy, confrontational alter that won't stop telling people off, feel free to lmk <:)
