Honestly, it's what we deserve 😭🤧 The Monaco-Baku stretch was literally my favourite part of the entire season last year. Such a rollercoaster, Charles and Seb at the center of it all...And the crumbs were exquisite! They were really clued to each other pre-race in Monaco...and then obviously that moment on the grid when we knew Charles couldn't start. And then Baku! The possibility of a Sebchal podium! It was this close at one point! We could've had it all! But we still got compensation in the form of that embrace and helmet (?) cradle, and then the whole texting story, Charles praising Seb in every post-race interview he did...We really had it all at that point and afterwards it was just downhill from there 🙃

I so, so, so wish the bus tour thing would happen, that they'd get them together for a feature (be it the respective PR teams of Ferrari and Aston, or Sky Sports, or someone from the FIA PR video department) but I have basically no hopes that anything like that will transpire. Seb and Charles as a pair generally go under the radar a lot of the time, and ~the media tends to favour relationships like Mick & Seb, Pierre & Charles and Lando & Carlos instead. So, yeah, RIP bus tour I guess 🙃 Especially since that part of the presser wasn't even broadcast, so it's like this throwaway line that made waves across social media on the day, but won't actually go anywhere. I'm open to being pleasantly surprised but being realistic... 😭

So, I guess it's all in their hands now! Please throw us a bone here guys ❤️🥺 I think it'd be amazing for Seb to witness Charles's first Monaco [truck noises] given his own string of successes at the track and, crucially, that win in 2017. I'm big on narratives and things coming full circle and parallels and legacies and all of that so 👀 Seb's got a positive stat going for him too - top 5 finishes in all the races he has finished in Monaco - so I'm hoping they'll both have a positive weekend. Or, at the very least, that they'll console the other if things go sideways 🙏🏻
