i love how beautifully implied that Yunan & Olivia would become a couple. Like their literal episode “Olivia and Yunan”, with the bonding and bridal carry and Yunan lifting Olivia up in the air when celebrating. Then it came to them just working together all the time and then the HUG their private little HUG. Yunan was whipped. The little touches here and there, holding hands, Yunan’s arm around Olivia, they were all just little details

AND THEN it bloomed into Yunan literally being like “let’s have kids” and Olivia being like “bet” and her calling her wife “sweetheart”. Yunan getting flustered, Olivia just looking at her wife all smug and in love and…

you can never go home because you fell asleep for a thousand years and when you woke up and returned there, your society had changed, your house had fallen and all of your friends were dead. you can never go home because you made a choice and were shattered into pieces and your home was destroyed in your wake. you can never go home because someone took you and changed you against your will and although your home is the same, the person who belonged there is dead. you can never go home because you committed a crime and your family expelled you and even as they extend a hand of reconciliation, you will never forgive them. you can never go home because your home was a person and someone murdered her and now you drift and grieve to the point of insanity. you can never go home because you never knew your sister but she gave you every opportunity you have and now she's dead and your parents see nothing but her in your eyes.

I know it’s upsetting to hear that the trio kinda separated after Marcy moved and as they got through high school, especially after the events of the show, but it’s told to us that even though the girls aren’t as close as they once were, they’re still close.

They’re close enough to still get together for Anne’s birthday at age 23.

They may not talk or see each other every day but that’s okay.

Some friendships work like that.

You don’t always have to talk to someone all the time to still be best friends with them.

The calamity trio will always be together. Just in their own ways.

no but if we have to see sprig, the plantars and anne say goodbye one last time tonight, I'Il actually sob like a lunatic ;n; other possible things that would make me cry in no particular order:

timeskip frog polly (omg SHE'S SUCH A SWEET TINY BABY I love her with all my heart like THIS THOUGHT ALONE ACTUALLY MAKES ME CHOKE UP. I already teared up watching her get her legs + using her frog tongue I’m not ready for her to grow up)

timeskip hop-pop (noonono OH GODDD NO NOT ALLOWED NOT IN THIS HOUSE. THIS WOULD BE SO BITTERSWEET esp when I remember his vision of the future in sprig's fiddle concert ep)

amphibia being restored, decolonized and the prejudice caste system disappearing

any new content of andrias, leif and barrel.. esp if it's some sort of "afterlife" reunion

marcy moving out of state + the trio moving on w/ their lives

just… any last bit of the love constantly portrayed in amphibia. I've said this so many times like I'm actually so annoying abt this LOL but stories that emphasize character community and their desires to do good for one another make me sooo so so emotional WAHHH

the main cast of amphibia being super chill despite literally getting arms cut off, massive open wounds and being repeatedly thrown around is cuz newtopia has free healthcare. and rejuvenation tanks apparently
