Joshua’s joke, as morbid as it was, got a small laugh out of Neku. He was just going to ignore the nickname this time. “Sure, but tell that to Coco. And all the other Reapers who seem to want me dead,” he replied. Though he was pretty sure Coco had no intentions of shooting him again.

“But don’t worry, I’ll be safe. Thanks.” He’d gotten used to promising that to all his friends every time he went somewhere. Shiki and Beat especially were very overprotective, but it was nice to know Joshua cared too.

His Gaze Slowly Grew Soft as his Facial Expression did as well. His Shoulders Relaxed as his Face Morphed into a More Neutral Look. Damn - being Mad is Tough Work! And Joshua is grateful Neku Apologized So Soon.

He really hadn’t meant to make Joshua angry. Joshua was dangerous when he was angry, and Neku was relieved when he saw his expression soften.

Joshua Moved to Cross his Arms, a Frown Practically Stapled upon his Face. His Gaze was Cold, Looking at Neku with Furrowed Brows.

“Josh, trust me, you’re the last person I’d ever want to fight.” Even if they were in the UG and Neku had access to his psychs, he wasn’t sure if he could take on a Composer in a fight, but here in the RG where he was powerless? He’d have to have a death wish.

“I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean to slam it in your face, I thought you’d notice.”

“Oh don’t be like that - I’m Only being Playful.” Joshua Chuckled, Rubbing his Index and Thumb between a Lock of his Ash Blonde Hair. He Moved to Follow Neku, Humming Softly. Of Course, Joshua Only Noticed that Neku didn’t Hold the Door for him was Went it Slammed Against him.

He Pouted, moving to push the Door Open So he could Fully Walk Out before Closing it. Afterwards, he Jogged up Next to Neku, Sliding a Hand into his Back Pocket.

“That’s not Very Nice, Neku..”

Neku looked back, and while he did feel a little bad for Joshua when he saw the door slam in his face, it still took all the self control he had not to laugh. He did his best to keep a straight face when Joshua caught up to him, shrugging his shoulders in response to the comment.

“You teased me last time I held the door open for you. Did you really expect me to do it again? Maybe if you want people to be nice to you, you should be nice to them, Josh.”
