the yugioh card change of heart just got unbanned in official TCG gameplay, 17 years after it was banned. it is currently considered a limited use card. change of heart was frequently used in the manga and anime, most notably as bakura's favorite card.
Pouring one out for all the anime-only fans whose version of memory world doesn’t include the scenes where Yami Bakura follows his past self around and gleefully watches him kill people like he’s eating popcorn and watching nostalgic home movies right up until Thief King dies and then he’s like “god you useless piece of shit I can’t believe you let the pharaoh kill you I am embarrassed to have once been you you cringe idiot” because it is both essential YB characterization and also really spot-on about what its like to see photos of yourself from high school
I’m sorry I’m talking about ladybubs and chat noir, after powering through season four in one day I’ve been having weird dreams that combines it with code geass mech battles and the Greek god Aphrodite. Yugi is there.
Funny enough I think the emphasis in the text and subtext is that yeah. Marinette and Adrien are meant to be starcrossed lovers never meant to actually be together as long as theyre both ladybubs and chat noir.
We see multiple versions of the reveal scene that always ends badly. First with Adrien realizing that Ladybug is marinette and then he approaches her for that reason since he’s in love with ladybubs and that ends with chat blanc. Then we see ladybug finding out that chat noir is Adrien. She still doesn’t run straight to him since she says the whole “who’s the real Adrien” but still it ends with the end of the world again
I think that’s the real take away is the fact that they aren’t actually in love with their true selves, especially with the Kuro Neko ep where ladybubs is stumbling over herself cause he acts like the Adrien she loves. Which makes me think that chances Adrien at the very least isn’t going to be chat noir for them to get together, but they are going to get together in the end so eh
Powered through season four of miraculous ladybug and there are thoughts but the first one is. Did. Did they get the order of the episodes wrong again?
So regardless of the “story” (and I use that term loosely cause there seem to be bare consequences), it seems like the episodes are the same since season one.
The characters are simple but honestly I don’t mind considering its for kids and it’s not that deep. The problem is that they keep resetting as soon as the episodes end and that makes them feel basic.
Seriously marinette cries over having to be alone so many times and Adrien trashes his ladybug things twice. They’re kids yeah but also doing that multiple times makes it lose its impact.
Best season ending is still season one. It’s not a bad thing to have things end conclusively enough to be satisfying instead of leaving on cliff ends. Especially if the first episode of the next season resets things anyway.
Again, seriously, marinette breaks up with luka and starts fawning over adrien in the first episode of season four despite the former getting together in the season three finale. And they show at least two episodes going over the consequences of why marinette and adrien cant be together so why keep this thread going (you know other than reinforcing the whole “they will most definitely get together in the end for sure even if everyone says they wont its totally going to happen what are you talking about uwuuuuuuu”).
The animation makes me laugh
#or hes a sentimonster like a few theories say #I passively watch so im not picking up any of subtle cues that could possibly be red herrings so #¯\_(ツ)_/¯#not yugioh

#it feels like it #i didn’t bother looking up any right order but it feels like there’s some in the wrong order
everyone's always like "ooh the millennium items are EVIL they got ZORK in 'em they CORRUPTED me into killing all those people" but Ishizu Ishtar wore that thing daily for five years and the worst thing she ever did was work for the government. maybe you all need to get your shit together. maybe you just wanted to trap grandpa in a little TV or set that guy on fire, did you consider that. all I'm saying is that she never had this problem
