Love that line from Weil where she says, “I owe you the truth at the risk of shocking you.” Don’t need to elaborate too much but thinking about the importance of critical feedback in relationships. Kind of understanding more as I grow older how deeply fulfilling it is to share hard aspects of connection, instead of shying away from the honesty. In a way I think this is a gift... and it helps to address any lingering hurt or imbalance
