Updated Ref Sheets Oct 2021

Just updated Suzu’s ref and made completely new refs for Razz and Osaka!

Suzu’s is on the same base by Krapette. The only difference is that their earring has been changed to a barbell/industrial, to match my IRL change from a cartilage to an industrial. (I also labelled the dark purple color swatch)

Razz has an all-new ref sheet on a base by Boltie! There were a few things I didn’t care for with her original ref, plus I have no idea who drew it! So here’s a new one that I like a lot and I can properly credit the artist.

Osaka’s new ref sheet is also on a base by Boltie. This is his first fully digital ref sheet! Previously, he only had a paper ref sheet with digital color swatches. Oof. I may eventually commission a new ref sheet of him that shows that he is actually very fat, but this chubby base is a good start!

The base by Krapette is F2U, but both of the Boltie bases are P2U!

Nipzal enjoys being creepy and making people feel uncomfortable. The idea for an impim with a mouth on its chest actually came to me in a dream.

I decided that I shouldn’t tag bases I colored as #my art, even though technically I did do part of the art. So any bases, lineart, or sketches that I colored are now tagged as #base and the #my art tag is only for stuff that I did start to finish.

New pride art! First one is by OeroStock, and second is a free base by TinyMochaDeer that I colored.

For those wondering, my four flags on Oero’s are demisexual, gynosexual (with a panromantic heart), polyamorous, and gender non-binary.

On TinyMochaDeer’s base, the flag is gynosexual with polyamorous and panromantic hearts, and my facepaint is gender non-binary.

I got a slot! Suzu will be drawn by the wonderfully talented IndiWolf!!!

My favorite artist should be opening for commissions tomorrow. I’ve been saving up for SO long to get a comm from them. Not going to jinx it by saying who they are, but I’m nervous and excited!

Kitteaux Species Guide!

Kitteaux (pronounced kit-toh) are my original species, like Dennik!

The guides are all text for now, but I’m eventually going to make an illustrated guide to the kitteaux.

Kitteaux are a semi-open species. You can design as many kitteaux as you want, but each one must follow the rules and be directly approved by me.

I shared my screen so I could get real-time feedback, drew the characters, and followed their design notes as best as I could. They sent me hex codes for the colors, too!

Kano the drekkubus: I was really in the mood to draw a drekkie, but I didn’t want to design one. So I showed the species to Ash and they love it and super love anything aquatic so they loved the chance to make one!

And Rowan the kitteaux!

I made an info sheet for the kitteaux and forced asked my friends to read it. Ash immediately wanted to make one, which makes me very happy! Rowan features a few uncommon traits and one rare (the floppy ears).

Old character but new to this blog: Yeenon!

Yeenon came to be from my friend Spazzy wanting a character who had markings that show up under UV or that glow, based on Akali from KDA’s Pop/Stars music video. So I made a draft, took notes, made edits, and Yeenon was made!

Yeenon is co-owned by Spazzy and me.
