Oh dear, it seems I forgot to continue this series of posts... Hopefully I don’t forget any details... 許してお願いしますw

Part 2
Part 3
Ameuta: 4/8
Ameuta Nirechi (飴唄ニレチ) is an UTAU created by Otsuki Metro (大槻メトロ). His voice is meant to be that of a youthful adult. He has a CV voicebank, and also a VCV (or CVVC?) voicebank if I read that correctly (disclaimer: Mod Defoko’s Kanji comprehension skills are still as rusty as the leaking pipe you probably forgot to fix in the basement). He is marked as Ameuta04: Caramel.
Nirechi likes seafood and family, but dislikes fire and having vegetables over and over again. Now, this is the UTAU in the group that resembles a train conductor (don’t get it mixed up with Nipo like I did). The archive stated that he had somewhat of a ghost train conductor theme. His age isn’t identified, but he’s definitely old enough to be an adult. Honestly, I really find the themes behind the Ameuta voices and designs quite charming, if I do say so myself.
Alright, time to put this up before anything else happens!
It’s time to gather UTAUs to select as the potential blog theme! As usual, please submit or reblog/comment an UTAU’s name and creator (to avoid confusion) on this post to submit an UTAU to be the center of this blog’s next theme! Remember: the UTAUs will all be put into a randomizer. Any UTAUs who were not chosen as the theme previously will be thrown into the randomizer as well (unless the person who submitted the UTAU withdraws them). If no more than one UTAU is submitted by the end of the month, the one UTAU will be chosen as the next month’s theme by default!
Please keep in mind that these UTAUs are to be automatically disqualified from the drawing, due to them already being chosen:
Defoko
Hiyori Shirakane
Coraline Sahimura
Ivory
Dr. Leaf
Tonova Kika
Matsudappoiyo
Thank you for reading, and best of luck!
Mod Defoko will go back to writing posts again shortly.
Nearly everyone knows this guy, so it's not exactly a "signal boost"... but there’s the unofficial tradition of posting about the theme UTAU every month, so here we are!
Matsudappoiyo (松田っぽいよ) is a Japanese UTAU created by Matsuda Toki (松田トキ). What can I say about his voice that hasn’t already been said...? Nothing, really. His voice is generally cool and calm, but there are strong voicebanks as well. I think his voice is kind of “light,” too. Or maybe bright. Something like that.
Matsudappoiyo’s character name is Matsuda Souta (松田爽汰). He’s 18 years old, and he likes blueberry soda. He was discontinued in 2014 but made a comeback in 2019 (his 9th anniversary)! Reportedly, his voicebanks had also been made available for a brief time in 2016-2017 due to an album being released. Although there is no personality listed on his website, he was initially portrayed as an unmotivated, possibly lazy sort of person.
Hi, I was wondering if I could submit my own UTAU!
Her name is Arachne, she’s a fashion designer who seemingly creates chaos wherever she goes. She wants to make friends with most people, and find a girlfriend, but she’s incredibly socially awkward. She likes video games, fashion, makeup, cooking, spicy food, camping, hiking, and memes. She dislikes most sweets. She’s very energetic and loves trying to get her friends in whatever craziness she has planned, whether it’s something like cooking something known to be difficult or trying to get everyone to go outside and touch grass with her.
Her favourite video game is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.
She has Japanese voicebanks, a multipitch-multiexpression English voicebank, and she has a multipitch-multiexpression Canadian French voicebank in the works! She’s canonically Franco-Ontarienne.
She’s partially based off the Greek Myth of Arachne, which is where she gets her occupation and lack of social awareness from. A woman willing to tell off Athena herself, goddess of war and wisdom, clearly is not the most socially apt. So this UTAU is also a little awkward.
For nationality/crediting info, she is Canadian (cause I am Canadian), and I go by “General Nuisance” on most socials. I am the creator of the Érable reclist as well, which is the custom list being used in her and CopperCross’ upcoming Canadian French VBs.
Here’s some art of her and some of her demo reels/covers I’m proud of:

My, my… Doing my little job here for me, I see?
HOW DARE YOU- /j /lh
Jokes aside, this contains much trivia to be seen! It’s definitely not a problem at all for you to submit your own UTAU! In fact, I believe it should be encouraged since I wanna see what others created, on top of the incurable disease known as boredom.
I actually really like the spider motif she has here! The top was actually a clever little addition to the design! She looks like a fashionista of some sort… Oh, and squeezing in the little inspiration from the Greek Myth of Arachne? Clever, indeed! It’s also quite interesting on how her voicebanks are named after other (potentially) poisonous creatures.
Speaking of the voice, looks like that’s what I’m left to do! From the samples provided, Arachne happens to have a quite mature voice, heading towards the super deep ranges. For the most part, her voice is actually quite strong and solid in terms of tone. I did some searching, and perhaps “androgynous” is the right term to use.
Alright, since all the info’s here, I unfortunately have nothing else to say… But all of our lovely little followers are able to see all the info about Arachne here!
There’s actually more details here, including some other voicebanks that weren’t shown here.
I can’t believe 2012 was 10 years ago. I was only a kid then when I first came up with Kaylin. To celebrate, I decided last night that I was going to throw this video together at the last minute!
I also changed my name from Keiisnotthattired to Eliza Ditton. Plus the Futekiou UTAU are now the Storie UTAU. Plus Kaylin is getting another release soon, a bundle and sort of re-master of all her VBs thus far (including unreleased ones)! More about all of that in this video’s description!
This may be a completely unnecessary post to make, but I’ll make it anyway!
We’ve hit 100+ followers! Thanks for sticking around! Honestly, never would I have imagined this would’ve gone past even 25 follows! wwww I’m honestly glad we revived this blog, but thanks especially to Mod Hiyo for helping out a ton while I was out!
Now, my activity shall resume if I survive this weekend! Although, I’ve already put some posts in the queue already... Teehee!
Thanks for being patient! We’re going to fill the queue again really soon, including the recent signal boost submissions we got! (Thanks for that, too!)
Until then... Well, we finally updated the page about us, the mods. Go give it a look if you’re curious!
It’s a new month! Of course, that comes with a new theme! Apologies for it being a bit late this time. The theme won’t be changed yet because Mod Hiyori (me) still doesn’t know how to do that... Please be patient! >
*Mod Defoko laughs in intruding for a brief second to change the blog theme before disappearing for one or two more weeks*
Unfortunately, there were no new entries. Therefore, the theme defaults to a submission we received in April. And that submission is...
Matsudappoiyo, an UTAU created by Matsuda Toki! Unfortunately, this also means that Matsudappoiyo cannot be chosen again for future themes.
If the creator of Matsudappoiyo does not feel comfortable with their UTAU being the current theme of the blog, they are welcome to contact us.
Today is another event signal boost! But this time, I’m combining two! There was a third, but it took me so long to get around to writing this that it already ended
First up is Shisakune Demo’s 10th anniversary event. From May 1 to November 30, submitting anything with Demo (art, songs, and covers) will enter you for an art commission giveaway! However, make sure you tag it with #Shisakune10th and notify one of the organizers. All info has been compiled in this tweet.
The second event is Yasu Sora’s cover contest. Use his new voicebank in a cover to potentially win a prize of $200 USD! Unfortunately, my horrible timing leaves you with only a few days to enter. It ends on May 5. However, if you are interested in entering, you can read all the rules on this Carrd site.
That’s it for this post! Also, you are welcome to submit UTAU events for signal boosts in the future. Please feel free to do so.
Mod Hiyori again! Sorry for the recent inactivity. I’ve been busy, and I haven’t heard from Mod Defoko in quite a bit... But May is coming up, and I want to do my best to keep this blog alive somewhat! So let’s get ready for the next blog theme! (I’m going to just copy what I wrote last time)
Please submit an ask or reblog/comment on this post to submit an UTAU for the blog’s next theme! We need the UTAU’s name and creator to avoid confusion. These submissions will be put into a randomizer to decide the winner. Any submissions from past months who were not chosen as the theme will be thrown into the randomizer as well (unless their submitter withdraws them).
The following UTAUs have already been chosen and cannot be picked again:
- Defoko
- Hiyori Shirakane
- Coraline Sahimura
- Ivory
- Dr. Leaf
- Tonova Kika
Thank you for reading! Good luck, everyone!
