Rob loved a party, that couldn’t be denied, but Rob also got fixated on things, which is how they’d spent at least a half hour making an origami flower out of a piece of paper and one some kind of strange pick axe party favor. They finally looked up from ignoring the party around them after they were done, surveying their work, then immediately got up and offered it to whoever had been nearest their vicinity, “Hey, Happy Valentine’s night.” 

Kind of wild how we were hell bent on keeping Valentine’s day low key this year and yet somehow end up here. I think we might just need to face that we can’t be tamed, E.

Ollie was riding high on the Valentine’s vibes - he’d knocked it out of the park with Flick and she made efforts to make the holiday special for him too, and now they were at the party (later than anticipated because well...it was Valentine’s day) and he was frankly feeling himself, so much so that while he was supposed to be getting drinks for the two of them while she caught up with her friend from the shop he found himself taking pictures in front of one of the more elaborately decorated walls that made for a damn good photo backdrop. “I’ve got to be the sexiest motherfucker here, sheesh.” 

“Did you know Valentine’s day is tomorrow?” Camila asked after knocking twice and waiting a few seconds for Prince to get decent if he needed to and laying on top of his bed, eyes glued to her phone, “No idea how I missed that. Do you have plans?”

Cameron elected to come through the back entrance rather than the front in one of the rare moments in his life where he wasn’t really in the mood to socialize much. He was feeling a familiar pressure mounting and wanted to try and alleviate it before it got worse. Common sense would probably dictate that for husband advice he should go to his dad, but Cal was kind of naturally gifted at being a perfect husband from what he could tell. He’d grown up hearing countless stories of how his dad knew exactly the right thing to do. HIs mom on the other hand was always very transparent with pretty much everything, including her stumbles along the way, and Cam was stumbling at the moment so Rhiannon was it.

He knocked and waited for the green light to come in before he did so with Rhi’s favorite sandwich from the diner she loved down the street. “Hey mom, grub hub’s here.” He gave her a weak smile and handed over the food followed by a quick kiss on her cheek because yeah, he was a bit of a mama’s boy at his core. “So what’s up?” He said stalling as he took a seat across from her, wringing his hands together subconsciously, too focused on how he was supposed to come out and say he was screwing up already.

Rob played the drums vibing to whatever Luna did on her bass. Their sessions had no real rhyme, reason, or goals, which suited Rob the best because it was likely the moment playing with her felt like work would be the moment they were over playing the drums at all. “Alright, damn I was feeling that. I’m thinking we don’t even need a guitar or vocals. Our band can just be us and vibes.”

Soon enough she felt eyes on her and turned in that direction, “Uh...hi, do you mind? We’re having a private conversation.”
