Summary: Knuckles barges in front of Tom, Maddie, and Tails as Super Sonic lowers himself to the ground in front of them. He was poised like a warrior, prepared to finish a fight, and Tails was worried he was going to try to fight Sonic for the emeralds again, now that Eggman was out of the way. Instead, he said, “Stay back. That’s not the Sonic you once knew.”

He was, of course, proven wrong when he summoned those chili dogs. But that sentence, that throw away line nobody's bothered to investigate, has been ringing in his ears since he first heard it. What did Knuckles mean?

Super Milne concept

Milne's powers come from an experiment that was done on her, implanting crystals into her body, trying to make her into a super soldier because her species is made out of crystals and crystal powers can make them easily killable etc etc, ANYWAY, The crystals put inside of her do not agree with her body whatsoever, and that's why she's pointy. She doesn't use her crystal powers very often because it hurts her, but the rings she has on her wrists reduces the pain. The Chaos Emeralds make it so the crystals bond with her body correctly, giving her her original form back and making her able to use her powers without pain, so this is basically how she used to look before the experiment, minus the colors and wavy hair.

I know he is supposed to look angry and tough in this scene but Knuckles is too f*cking cute here. 😚
