Okay so you know those Peter Parker's Trip To Stark Industries fics on AO3? I had a fuckton of ideas for spins in the plot and an abandoned work.

All of these assume that Spidey works with the Defenders and other vigilantes cause fuck Stark. The Avengers assume he's a grown ass man because spider-MAN

His class goes to the feild trip but he misses out cause the vigilantes have a meeting with the Avengers about NY hero shit

Take the plot and make them go to Rand instead

There's a competition between VISIONS and Midtown. There's a bad guy. There's both Spideys working to bring him down (this one is still a feild trip but not to to SI)

Peter is looking forward to seeing everything, but misses the bus. He's not answering his phone. There was a minor invasion and all of New York's heroes turned out to stop it. Spidey and DD got hurt badly enough that they were taken back to Avengers headquarters. Meanwhile Flash acted like an idiot and broke something while on tour. He also broke himself and Ned in the process. They're both in the Medbay when the Heroes roll in. Peter has a freaking that Matt's dying and no he can't lose someone else. Ned is trying to calm him down. Flash is having a freakout shit Spidey can't be Peter

This was obviously hinted at, but yep, Rage is only 13 years old... he just aged up when he was exposed to the chemicals that gave him his powers... and hilariously, age is not something that bumps you from the team (using sliding time Vision might actually be “younger” than Rage) so with no like, real flags on his record, Elvin is accepted onto the team...
