War & Combat Asks. @divitaclara / accepting !

♦ - What does fighting mean to your muse, and how different are they during battle?

On the regular, both Retuo and Azhdaha are fairly chill. With Retuo being more expressive and playful than his Eroded and long imprisoned counterpart ( millennia of solitary confinement with your crumbling brain gaslighting you can do a number on one’s personality ). But they’re a level-headed dragon who often appear to amicable.  

Depends on the reason they’re fighting. It could be a means to an end, a necessary evil, a form of defense or something playful in cases of sparring. While they were Morax’s right hand during the Archon War and earlier skirmishes, helping him plan out defenses and placement of their troops, when in such combat Retuo tends to move on instincts. Often shutting out distractions and operating efficiently to put an end to it as soon as possible. 

They become a one-dragon-army with all the abilities at their disposal. Well, they were in their heyday...though, even now, they are a force to be reckoned with. 

That isn’t to say that they didn’t spare some compassion to reluctant enemies, or those who had no choice but to fight under an opposing banner. Most of the time the quickest way to end a battle is to take out the commanding officer, leaving the troops disorganized and without morale.  

If someone or something has truly earned the ire and wrath of the Dragon King, they will spare no thoughts of compassion for the offending party. At times, he takes it as their righteous duty to dispose of filth. As evident in this drabble. 

Both Retuo and Azhdaha can be pretty merciless and unforgiving if they believed that they were wronged or are wrongfully attacked in some way.

Though to a lesser degree, Azhdaha does enjoy sparring as well. It isn’t often they come across someone who is entertaining enough though. 

♣ - Is your muse particularly merciless or do they leave their opponents relatively whole after a fight? Why?

♥ - Is there an opponent they’ve fought they’ve grown particularly attached to, love or hate?

I suppose the obvious one is Morax...in a weird sense of it anyways. There aren’t many enemies from the old days that he left alive that Azhdaha can recall. I’m sure there were many who challenged their martial might back in the day, but no real opponents left alive to be attached to. 

Though that position is currently open for the taking ;D

Sorry my activity sucks right now. The antibiotics are very, very strong and surprise naps are frequent. But I’m starting to feel better and I can sit up without being dizzy or needing to lay in the shower and cry!

To take your mind off things: I know I like, brought this up before, but consider a Eira-Ivy-Tiffanie friendship. All 3 of them grew up in a wealthy house, all 3 of them don't like the pomp-&-circumstance that comes with being wealth & want to go fight & protect instead, all 3 of them have a parent(s) who are like 'no! don't do that! stay at home & be the prefect little girl I want you to be.' I'd live for them to get along, while pulling a ruse over their family's noses, pretending to act like good little rich girls, but are actually teaching each other cool new ways to fight & going on adventures together. 0w0

Yeeeeessss I would love to have them interact more and be friends!
