oh noooo:( the thing that motivates me the most is actually hearing people’s thoughts !! while i do infact write these smaus for enjoyment, i, like any author, loves feedback:] it’s the thought like “oh they’re enjoying i should update today” “some people are waiting for an update” so it just really pressures me but in a positive way of course !!

Have you read the book So Far From God by Ana Castillo? I think you might like it! It’s about 5 women in Tome, New Mexico and the author writes about capitalism and family and war in an amazing way.

That sounds like a really interesting book anon. Thanks heaps for the recommendation. I haven't read it and I'm unlikely to have much reading space for a few months (leisure reading is still patchy for me after the pandemic shot my concentration and I have a project that I'm working on that involves a lot of reading at the moment). But I will try and remember this and come back if I ever read it.

okay so basically for college i had to choose a style model and do some original writing based off of that but it's stressing me out so bad bc i was supposed to turn in the first draft of the original writing on friday but i didn't bc i feel like it's not close enough to the style model. and like,, i like the writing. i think it's alright. but im gonna do so bad bc i think i strayed too far from it.
