thoughts on 'what if what happened to Banri happened to Gaku' and consequences for TRG (mostly because I have a feeling part 5 is veering towards that possibility with Tenn so that might end up canon, and if Ryuu disappeared Gaku and Tenn would likely murder each other so that's a short story). Because I won't write this, but i do have Thoughts

since they're on the fun indie scene now, that would make the setting the same, concert somewhere off the main track, something goes wrong, speaker meets head.

Two scenarios came to mind, either frontal lobe damage and his personality is...not the same. Meek and timid, no arguments or strong opinions, Tenn loses his partner in head-butting matches and moral quandaries of professionalism and it's unsettling. Ryuu misses pulling them apart, their bickering, and his own camaraderie with being excited about things, being embarrassing around Tenn, movie nights and drinking.

Takes a long while to coax his impulses back to the forefront, first time he says something to oppose Tenn and Tenn can't even remember his own argument because he's so relieved. Ryuu continues his upbeat comments, jokes, and it's hard when there's no real response but the first time Gaku joins in again with playing around and being ridiculous, he definitely starts crying.

Option 2. He disappears. Don't know what the name would be with just TR but I imagine they'd keep going, and keep looking on the side. His family moved to the countryside, less reminders that would set off headaches or nausea, and he just keeps working at their new shop, the regular customers mostly too old to know about idols or just don't care/aren't into it. Listens to the radio sometimes, sings along to songs sometimes, though some familiar ones are too much of a trigger. There's no problems, until two people step into the shop and the world goes hazy with pain, drops the food he was bringing out, and...

I don't know the ending, that one's just sad all around.

Part 5 (spoilers) really seems to be gearing up for something to happen to TRG a la Zero and the suspicious reasoning on why I7 shouldn't come see the musical is really upping the ten(n)sion. Is someone going to go the way of Banri again? Is Tenn going to disappear, willing or not?

His eyes are so wide when you shout at Kujo-san for not allowing him to go on a date with you for the sake of ‘not missing practice’

He half-scolds you for losing your cool, knowing this isn’t a fight you wanna pick; yet you continue anyway

You argue with Kujo about how Tenn is his own person and not his puppet, and should be allowed to have fun and free time

For a second, Tenn feels ashamed at letting something like this happen; he obviously agreed with you, he just didn’t have the courage yet to refuse something Kujo wanted

Tenn feels his brain checking out when you hold his hand and walk away 

He could feel how much you love him even afterwards

“...(y/n)..thank you.”

He’ll find some way to properly thank you for doing this later

Gaku

Gaku and his father had gotten into a particularly bad argument than usual; you were even afraid it was about to get physical

You stand in front of your boyfriend. His dad didn’t like you much to begin with, which makes Gaku’s heart drop when you start defending what he said

He wants to say something but stays quiet for once. You being the one doing the shouting was completely new, and it was all for his sake

His father walks away, slamming the door and leaving the two of you alone. You were quite scary when you’re mad

‘Woah. That was intense. (y/n), I didn’t even know you had that in you!”

He says it moreso in a surprised tone than an annoyed one

Gaku is oddly somewhat proud of you, even though he feels bad you got involved in a heated argument

He takes note that pissing you off is a very bad idea from now on

Ryunosuke

A woman was harrassing him... Again. Luckily, you were passing by, causing you to stumble upon the conversation

You’re quick to stand between the woman and Ryuu, cutting off how close she was getting to him

Ryuu looks surprised, he hadn’t seen you make such an aggressive move and face

You sternly tell the lady to get lost, to which she scoffs, being greatly offended

Your boyfriend starts to panic, super embarrassed to be in a situation like this

Once again you put your foot down, putting some bass in your voice to reiterate that this woman needs to leave and never come near your boyfriend again

She finally leaves, making you sigh and turn to see if he’s alright

Ryuu feels guilty something that had to do with him made you react like this since you’re normally calm and collected

“(y/n)..sorry for pulling you into this. But I’m grateful, really! Don’t stress yourself out over me from now on, okay?”

For those wondering who the fuck Shiki is, he's Miroku and Buster's old rival. Buster thought of him as a friend but it's hard to tell if the feeling was ever mutual...

An au where TRIGGER's colors matching the trans flag perfectly is actually on purpose

-Anesagi is already trans, so she's perfect the way she is

-Ryuu (he/him) is transmasc, in all their cover shoots and photospreads he makes sure they don't airbrush or cover up his top scars. He's still the beast and still a little shy about the lies about his father, but he's always been open about being trans.

-Tenn (she/he) is genderfluid, the same little brat either way :)

-Gaku (he/they) is nonbinary, as upfront and blunt about it as he is about everything. They're still voted the No. 1 and the title's simply changed to accommodate them instead.
