ExclusiveNYC is a plotless, member-led roleplay focused on character development in New York City. With this group being created by members, for members, you will always have a say in group decisions and be able to pitch new ideas to the admin team to make the city even better! Because you have to pick up a wanted connection or skeleton character to join, you’ll immediately have someone to plot with and can develop your muse as an individual in an expansive social setting. IT’S 1999 IN CHERRY, CALIFORNIA.

Cherry, Cherry, Cherry, You’re not sure if you should call it your hometown, or the bane of your existence… Either way, you’re not sure you’ll ever have a way out. You used to be friends with the gang - from elementary to middle school, you were inseparable. You went to every birthday party, and spent every day in the town square with your friends… That was, until, your Dad lost his job and moved you and your mother to the Southside. After that, your friends stopped calling - they started going to the Boardwalk, and throwing parties without you. It hurt at first, but you made new friends on the Southside, and after a while, the pain started to subside.

You had never been a good kid, per say, but your move to the southside cemented a pretty little reputation for you as a ‘problem child.’ You always seemed to be sneaking into places you shouldn’t be, and you were never afraid to throw a punch when the situation called for violent solutions… You got involved with the Southside Gang during high school - dealing drugs, and collecting debts just like most kids in the Southside - and now that they’re moving their territory into Cherry Proper, you’ve found yourself in your hometown more and more.

You can’t tell if your old friends are happy to see you or not: you know some of them wish you were anywhere but there… You’re just wondering how they might react when they find out you’re going to be joining them at Cherry Coastal University come fall.

IT’S 1999 IN CHERRY, CALIFORNIA.

Even from the youngest age, you knew that the Logan family had its fair share of demons. Your older sister was always bursting at the seams under the weight of your mother’s forced perfection, and your neglected twin, Libby Logan - The Classic - was always fighting for the tiniest scraps of attention. You were loud, and defiant - always sent to dinner without bed, and locked in yours and your sister’s room when your mother, Glenda, was too exhausted to deal with you. You didn’t care to fight for your mother’s approval, and you didn’t care to pretend to have a relationship with your father. You just wanted out of the Logan household just as soon as you could get away.

It was in the middle of the night - only a few days into the summer before you and your twin were set to start high school - when you began to piece together your grand plan. You wanted to run off to San Francisco to live with your Aunt Odessa, someone who wouldn’t make you and your sister feel so forgotten… But when Libby refused, and told you that she would hate you if you left, you knew you had no choice but to leave her behind and hope that she’d be lonely enough to follow after you one day. That never happened. You’re angry that neither of your sisters ever tried to find you, but you know that your Glenda Logan  likely left them no choice but to forget.

Now, it’s been years since you’ve seen either of your sisters, and though you miss them - you’re terrified to face them. You know that your family has fallen apart. Your older ‘sister,’ Sabrina, just recently found out that your Aunt Odessa is her real mother - adopted away by Glenda shortly after her birth… Your twin was recently disowned and is falling apart. You wonder if your showing up now is going to help or hurt them, but you figure it’s too late to turn back now. Especially since you’re being blackmailed and all.

After nearly a year of torment, the citizens of Cherry are ready to spend the next few months in the sun. Tourists have been flooding into their little town in droves - faces both old and new - and now that the Boardwalk has finally been reopened, and there’s hardly a moment throughout the day that the Beach isn’t crowded beyond belief.

There’s no way that things can stay so tame forever though, can they? The mystery of who murdered Lux Lewis is still afoot. The gang from the Southside is moving into town, and they’re taking territory from the crime family who has run Cherry since its inception: the Hargrove’s. There’s a power vacuum that someone is going to fill, whether the citizens of Cherry like it or not… Will it be someone with their best interests at heart? Well, that might be up to you to decide. FOUR NEW SKELETONS RECENTLY ADDED!

Echo Springs. It’s a normal town with normal people, living their normal lives with normal jobs. At the end of the day, they go to sleep in their normal beds and... have strange dreams. Dreams so vibrant that they feel real. Like memories. A bright light flashing from one’s palms, the sensation of flying, the smile of a loved one. Dreams of other worlds and other realms and other towns. Places in the multiverse of reality.

These memories of other places are vibrant in their dreams, but in the waking hours, are just snatches of what might have once been. Residents wake and memories fade, but something doesn’t always feel normal. Maybe you were born here, maybe you moved here, but sometimes your memories of Echo Springs feel just a little bit off.

Things in town will remind you of the dreams that you can never quite remember, and strange things will happen. Someone will listen to you just because you told them to do something. Echo Springs ( @echospringshq ) is an appless, multi-fandom 18+ RP group set in a fictional town with once a week activity checks. Residents have been dragged from all corners of the multiverse, their memories taken and twisted. They do not remember their canon lives, except in dreams, intense at night but fading in the morning. The residents are just trying to live normal lives, but bodies have started to appear in the woods — and no one is quite sure who they are or how they got there. The mysteries are only just beginning in Echo Springs!

the golden apple: city of opportunities; kairos looks down upon the city with more love than any other, with everything to show about it. it might be the flourishing and divergent neighborhoods in the residential area that gets you, or is it the high rises in downtown manhattan, the ones that kiss the skyline with their neon lights, the CEOs and CFOs argue numbers with whatever men and women in button ups and ties they bought for too much money, or maybe it’s the small sandwich shop in brooklyn that’ll get you, the one that knows you by your first name, making every sandwich for lunch from the day you started kindergarten.

you would never be able to tell that this city was a BATTLE GROUND of species, one that left some to be wanting more, yearning for revenge against the one’s who wronged them all those years ago. there’s turf wars, of course, between species; because what city doesn’t have them?

BUT anyone who knows anything, knows the real opportunities lie beyond the daytime life of new york, through the passing glances those families who live in the hills or in the high rises that you so desperately want to be in, of those who hold their head high — or maybe hang it in shame — through crimson drenched souls, stinking of death and iron, or those who sharpen their weapons just to feel the blade in their hands, or the ones whose tarot cards are a little too accurate, or maybe it’s just that one person you can’t put your finger down on what exactly the hell is wrong with them.

@noxtms is an appless and highly au group set in a modern golden trio era. eight years have passed since the battle of hogwarts, which saw not only the death of harry potter, but the defeat of lord voldemort at the hands of the surviving dumbledore’s army. eight years, where individuals grieved, grew, and moved on - their peace tentative in the way it always is and ruined when the rumors of bellatrix lestrange & her associates attempting a resurrection proved correct. the dark lords last and best lieutenant succeeded in returning him to life, though the return of the boy who lived and regulus black proved to be an unintended side effect. it has become obvious to the survivors of the second war that nothing, not even peace, lasts. everything ends, though you never quite step into the same stream twice. the new threat has well & truly arrived, and it’s up to you to decide whether this time, all will be well.
