Mac and Maya both sick at same time

going to daycare definitely meant you’d catch every bug possible no matter how hard you tried to avoid it.

So they usually have colds and bugs at the same time, one would always gave it worser than the others

So its sleeping in Mommy and Daddy’s bed for a dew nights and usually a very tired jake who was up all night.

Amy tries getting time off work especially when Maya is ill as she tends to naturally go to amy if she is sick

Amy: You need to react when people cry!

Rosa: I did. I rolled my eyes.

it happened when they were coming in from taking mac to school, jake felt mega guilty but amy reassured him it was just an accident

Jake falling asleep on amy/ amy falling asleep on jake

Jake falling asleep on Amy: she finds it cute but tries to find a comfortable position as soon as possible because she knows she won’t be able to move otherwise.

Amy falling asleep on Jake: it doesn’t matter if his arm goes numb or anything, he lets her sleep all she wants, all night even.

Jake or Amy (or both at times) having a nightmare of the other dying

I feel like they’re kinda used to it though, being cops and all that, they know that they're at constant risk. Amy's nightmares definitely decrease once Jake retires, while he starts having more since he can't shake the thought that he won’t be there with her if something happens.

Anyway I feel like most times neither of them would admit what the nightmare was about, they'd just hold the other very tightly to reassure that they’re right there in their arms, they’re okay. It’s sort of a silent understanding that they both have.
