"I believe so to. Its best if peace is given in this timeline."
"Are these special to you? Theses a lot of photos of you and this goat guy on this side of room."
* Mildred looked at photos with great interest
I don't know if anyone has an au for this, I just decided to make this on a whim,
Instead of it being the regular playthrough of Undertale and Hollow knight, it's just Sans blazing through the entirety of under nest just by chatting with the monster.
Frisk is definitely absolute radiance, I considered Asriel but this is funnier.
There is a pretty popular fanon belief that Chara did not fall but rather jumped down with the intent of not getting back up. Whilst it is true that there are things in the game that can be taken as hints of suicidal behavior, Chara’s actual fall was an accident.
Firstly, the introduction cutscene shows Chara’s fall, not Frisk’s. This is made fairly obvious by the date “201X” and the single stripe on their shirt compared to Frisk’s two.
201X was the year of Chara’s fall.
This cutscene shows the first human tripping on a vine, causing them to fall.
In the kickstarter page of Undertale in 2013, Toby Fox stated the following regarding Chara :
Whilst the canonicity of the kickstarter was put into question in a half-serious tweet from several years later, the fact that this cutscene was unchanged since the demo and the fact that toby stated the same thing in an interview from 2015 all seem to agree that this is still canon to the final version.
Toby Fox in 2015 : “In the year 201X, a young human climbs Mt Ebbot, a strange mountain that people have been said to disappear from. While climbing the mountain, the human finds a strange hole. Peering over the edge to get a closer look, they trip and fall in.”
This is indeed exactly what we see in the cutscene.
The reason for this misconception comes from Asriel’s dialogue at the end of a true pacifist route :
Asriel here is not talking about the reason why Chara fell in the underground but rather about the reason why they climbed the mountain in the first place, before ever finding that hole.
The reason as to why they climbed a mountain where people are said to disappear from is the one that wasn’t a very happy reason, not the fall itself.
Whilst the question of what exactly was going on through Chara’s mind is unclear (notably, what were they “peering over the edge to get a closer look” into a hole like this for ?), the fall itself was due to tripping, not jumping.
Later in the story, is it going to be explained to us why Asriel couldn't reset the timeline correctly? Because it seems very forced to me that he simply couldn't do it because just at that moment, there was a failure.
He tried to do too much at once. It was a lot of power and he just jumped to trying to do a BIG THING and that coupled with some last-minute resistance from Chara caused it.
But going in-depth about that in the prologue would've made for some jank pace, especially when it's meant to be a framing device for the story in the first place. Sometimes a what-if is just the what-if of it all. "What if Asriel won but something went wrong?" is simply the foundation this AU is built upon.
Asriel's expression when defeating Papyrus in the video game... *I Want to See It Grow Up Healthy meme.*
//i got u anon
my dark world post-flowey asriel looks so fucked up look at this man
Goooats in spaaaace
Hello! Could you do Flowey on bingo card please? I really love him
You're in luck because I didn't finish my train of thoughts from last time, so here's part 2
I really connect with the "sensitive child who struggles to make friends" aspect of him, because that was very much me and I was a crybaby at his age too
I really like him. I love how he is deeply flawed yet still likeable. He broke his own metaphorical heart. He is a victim of his own philosophy. He built his own prison. He is such a compelling character and I love how the game is about his story and his growth.
Me and Azzy had no idea what the fuck we were doing in college
We were literally bad at the most basic things lmao. at least Toriel helped us on what she could at times 😅
i forgot i made a darkworld asriel design uhhhh
something for something im making here
i was gonna make the thing a robe then i saw some fan art and ripped ir off that uhhh
Someonebto match his energy :)
No actually his ideal type is the person reading this :)

I mess up on my first Animatic-
Glitchtale belongs to @camilaart
It's the big one! Flowey on the bingo card!
Ah, the blorbo! It's a two-for-one!
I did not go into the game blind. I expected Omega Flowey, but the moment he smashed my save file and proceeded to make his pre-fight speech was...majestic, to say the least.
(There are no words for how much I love the Omega Flowey fight. NO.1 of all boss fights in ut for me honestly, from both gameplay and narrative perspective. And the "Finale" track. )
He is so amazingly complex as a character. The fact that Flowey and Asriel are the same individual is so important, I can't believe people sever one from the other...Yeah sometimes I want to tell people that Flowey is a sweetie and Asriel is a bitter kid with a taste for morbidity just for their horrified reaction.
The point is, of course, that he is both. He likes having power, would seize it for himself, would let his thirst for power cloud his better judgement. He is angry, he is bitter, he is prideful. He's capable of cruelty, he can even revel in it.
Secretly he's scared. Scared of humans, of the circumstances that created him, of abandonment, of his powers, of his own dark side, of people finding out his dark side. He's sad, sad for who he's become, for everything and everyone he's lost. He hates who he's become.
He hates the cruel things he did, because he hasn't lost his morality, and it just makes him hate himself more. He thought "kill or be killed" was a divine rule written somewhere, and he was an idiot for missing the memo and that's why he died. He thought all this suffering was probably punishment for what he did, or what he didn't do. He thought he had failed everyone so much.
Despite this, he keeps "Asriel" a consecrated image in that golden nostalgia, a soft, kind-hearted, compassionate innocent, the ideal prince that deep down, he knows he isn't.
He doesn't like to admit it, but he's lonely, and he wants friends. Friendship is another sacred realm for him, so sacred that he feels someone as himself doesn't deserve it anymore. He tries to convince himself that he isn't capable of it anymore, and it's not like he needs it.
He is confused. He is open-minded and a quick learner. He is open to guidance, and he is willing to change.
He's a creative kid. He likes stars and rainbows—things in the sky. He probably dreamed of seeing them.
He likes being helpful. It gives him a sense of self worth. He looks out for the people he cared about, and he still cares very much about them. He wants, and has always wanted freedom and happiness for his people.
Like @stainedglassthreads suggested, I really wish we can have Flowey's commentary on everything in the Underground! I think he would have so much interesting stuff to say.
now has a part two!
forced myself to draw somthing else then skeletons-
now my hands hurt because of 3 hours farming on a game and now drawing =)
FLOWEY SAID HE TRIED TO BE GOOD SO MANY TIMES, HE TRIED RECONNECTING WITH HIS FAMILY(toriel namely), AND HE TRIED SO HARD.
HE FELT BAD HE COULDN'T.
He said he was bored after helping everyone and being kind all the time, that after a few more resets, probably years worth, he tried something different for once.
He tried different things time and time again because he could always reset it, so it didn't actually matter to him, if nobody remembered.
And he's still a little kid- he's still Asriel- and i know Chara isn't evil, but its Chara's fault that Asriel is Flowey in the first place, but he didn't hate them for it.
In the true pacifist ending, with Frisk, he cried and apologised for everything and gave everyone back their souls and restored it all.
He even felt so bad as to basically keep himself in the underground for the rest of his life, namely to take care of the flowers.
While everyone else was on the surface, his family, he didn't want to see them because he felt bad. He didn't want Frisk to remember him as Flowey either, he wanted them to remember him as Asriel, a friend they had for a short amount of time.
Flowey(Asriel)acted out of fear in the beginning, and trauma. They have so much trauma at such a young age.
And Asriel, as a God, states he wants to kill Frisk over and over again just to keep them with him; because he doesn't want them to leave him. He sees Chara in Frisk, and wants them to stay with him, so he does what he does best.
He confesses everything and says he's afraid, alone, etc.
((i typed this out back in 2021, nearly a year ago, so somethings are obviously probablyyyy kinda incorrect. but the underlying point is that Flowey can be redeemed and he has in some routes, cases, and through his friendship with Papyrus. he shows no ill will toward Papyrus. there is a genuine feeling of mutual friendship there between the two. and in the qna a few years ago, Its directly shown that Flowey still CARES to some degree, especially for Toriel. and I'll emphasize this: Flowey is still a child, a little kid. he's extremely traumatised, scared, and alone. thats exactly what he says too, during his Asriel fight. but yknow, after so many resets, and lack of a soul, its probably harder to care AND/OR comprehend what he's going through for himself. especially since he died so young, he might not understand himself or his feelings. especially if he doesnt care to. theres more i wanna say but ehhh im tired))
I had to draw real fanart of this guy XDDD I will not apologize because I love this man of a goat/boss monster~
