POTP Slash, a great little scout for the Dinobot crew.

So I went into 'Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers' expecting it to be nothing more than a 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' wannabe & that's pretty much what it was but it still was a lot of fun!

And yeah, it was filled with pointless cameos & dumb meta jokes, but tbh I kinda love pointless cameos & dumb meta jokes. 

And I don’t know why but that crowd shot with Blaster in it is really funny to me. My boi looks so out of place.

On that note, my favourite cameo of the film absolutely is Skeletor calling He-Man a boob.

This was a Christmas gift from a friend. I’m not doing a full review today, because I’ve already spoken about Smokescrean and Prowl at the points, and they’re really not all that different. 

Backdrop:

For the starfield and decoder we don’t see a Cybertron colony this time, but what I assume are flight plans, or flight course. That’s pretty much it. ‘Nuff said.

Vehicle Mode:

Vehicle mode is a car. It looks nice. I like the matte black.

Comparing Bluestreak with Smokescreen and Prowl we see they are all similar cars. 

Transformation:

Transformation is not a complicated affair.

Robot Mode:

Bluestreak’s robot is is a lot of fun. The figure poses well, it looks good. I have no complaints.

Final Thoughts:

Third verse...just like the first. If you have Prowl, and/or Smokescreen there’s very little difference; but I love Bluestreak’s colors the best.

Vehicle Mode:

Netflix edition Bumblebee is a retool/repaint of Earthrise Cliffjumper, and I have to say this vehicle is great!

Like Cliffjumper, BB also has the hydrofoil mode.

Transformation:

Transformation exactly the same as Cliffjumper, or Bug Bite. My only issue with the transformation is that same as the other two figures; I don’t like how the hands hold the rear part of the volkswagon; you have to carefully twist, and inch it out of his robot hands.

Netflix Bumblebee is a fun toy, and a great addition to my Transformers collection.

thinking about how as idw1 goes on optimus and megatron get more and more confused as to who they are and what they stand for meanwhile bumblebee and starscream become the embodiments of their factions for better or for worse. abt how optimus and megatron are left with these unclear fates as symbols of the war being left behind while bumblebee and starscream learn to exist in harmony with one another.

Honestly, Fowler is the only thing standing between the Autobots and the American Government who'd happily deconstruct them and I think we should talk about it more, because outside of MECH Arcs, it's kinda glossed over. Like they're a pushy relative instead of a governing entity.

Anon I literally love you for giving me the excuse to ramble about it because you have no idea how long and hard I've been thinking about it. Genuenly thank fuck for Fowler because I do think there would have been people out there who, upon being put in his position, would do everything in their power to just fuck the Autobots over as much as possible as long as it would benefit the government.

Like, the Autobots are in a VERY bad place. They're working with the United States Government in exchange for being able to stay there. And I have no doubt that they could take care of themselves on their own, but once they made the deal... I'm not sure how they could just walk out of it.

I can imagine the government trying to force the Autobots to do their dirty work under the threat of breaking the deal. I mean, they have huge robots with vast military training and experience practically at their disposal- something that I'd imagine other countries and the vast majority of the world wide population doesn't know about. They would be pretty much invincible. Getting the Autobots to agree is the only issue that has yet to be resolved, and they have leverage. They can threaten the team, manipulate them- hell, they could have literally just taken them apart.
