just woke up from a nap so I didn't see this as soon as you sent it lmao. but I hadta dig for a minute, and i finally found the post you were talking about (the god-awful one where i drew skrael).

I'm sorry lmao but the reference thing was for the "for gay reasons" bit, which was a reference to a one-shot on ao3 about skrael and bellroc, where the author said they wrote skrael with long white hair "for gay reasons" and i just snatched that right up. (but my hcs have changed a lil bit now). id link the bit but i cant remember the title or the author.

BUTT the reason i draw him with a crooked horn is because of the character sheet + his wiki, where his horns are asymmetrical

plus also i feel like he can change the shape of them and he makes them wonky on purpose because he thinks its kind of funny.

and we arent gonna talk abt how there's a small pile of hcs I have that are definitely 100% not because I read something and decided it was canon

Day 8, 9 and 10 - The Arcane Order

Skrael: Instead of horns I gave Skrael antennae things (it’s not very clear oops). Also the skull is something he found in a shipwreck and they wear it as a hat. It’s their favourite hat.

Fun Fact: before Wizards was even announced I had a (now abandoned) Trollhunters OC by the same name, but I spelt it as ‘Skrail.’

Bellroc: Instead of the black feather cloak they wear, I gave them spines on her fins and back (you can’t see the back spines from here unfortunately). Also, instead of the eyes and mouth on their armour (or is it apart of her body?) I gave Bellroc an anglerfish eye-light and a stomach mouth. The stomach mouth is for eating and the regular mouth on their face is for speaking and giving disapproving frowns.

Nari: I made her fins look like leaves. That’s all.

They finally spotted him- the familiar spot in the very corner of their eye, as if a hole had been punched in their vision. They waited for a moment, expecting him to rise and fill in the uncomfortably empty area at their hip, but they didn’t. (They ignored the fact that the blot was slowly filling in, that they could see the pocket usually empty of heat start to fill.)"
