heheh yeh I crochet as well as 1000 other hobbies, I like to say that I am passionatly mediocre / okay at many a thing, I get tired of continually doing the same hobby, so I keep a bunch of them in rotation UwU

I'll include some pics of the progress below the cut. It's been hours already and it'll be many hours more that I have to put in. But I'll be taking a blankie break to make some gifts and secret projects (for my mom but also for friends that are on tumblr which is why I am being so vague)

Soon, Leona will come and the queen will impress us all. Until then, are you going for Kalim or Trey this masterchef round?

Tumblr uploaded them in reverse order but ok. My bed in the first pic is a queen for reference. Ever since I have finished the dark moss green color, added a bright dark green and a lime green, and I am currently working on the first of my yellow tinted colors (it'll be more or less a rainbow blanket with many many MANY more colors added)

It's a big project, in the meantime I make smaller amigurumi too, cause I can finish those in a day / couple of days, this blanket has been 2 months of on and off crocheting. Hope to have it done by winter ish?

Ooh the way you got into Twst is somewhat similar to how I did. I also saw it everywhere when the JP version came out (I saw mostly Riddle art lol) but I never bothered to try it out until the NA version was released. And I relate with the struggle of pulling, it's like the game can tell who your faves are and decide not to give them to you T-T. Omg I'm also saving for Fairy Gala Leona, hoping we both get him!

Same! I had to go by vibes and art too. To be honest, none of the characters really appealed to me at first😅. For some reason I chose Malleus as my first SR, but my first fave actually ended up being Vil lol. Speaking of, I thought Vil would be one of the most popular but based on what I've seen in the fandom, that doesn't seem to be the case.

If you ever feel like it, I would love to hear a more in-depth explanation of what you like about each of the characters you listed 👀. My current fave (as you could probably guess based on my requests lol) is Leona! I still like Vil but I like Leona just a bit more. To be honest I didn't even like Leona at all in the beginning or even for the duration of Chp 2 but suddenly out of nowhere I started liking him a lot.

And how you feel about pulling Azul is valid! I also much prefer pulling for characters I like rather than pulling for ones that are good for battle. I'm hoping you'll be able to pull for all your faves!

I didn't really have any big plans either, spent most of my time chilling, making progress on my bigass crochet blanket (so many hours) and studying some Japanese (and do a tiny tiny tiny bit of prep for work, teacherlife).

With Vil it is kinda an all or no situation? The Vil fans tend to be die hard, putting all their love in their queen (rightfully so) and the other fans seem to disregard him quite easily? I am thinking his popularity will rise when chap 5 comes out? We've not seen that much of him just yet; and chapter 4 surely did wonders for the popularity of Kalim and Jamil UwU. In my case, I like Vil in the sense that I would like to be him. Like, that work ethic, those poison making skills and those looks? Where the hecc do I sign up?

As for why i like who I like, I have very little explanation? If i look at my other favorites, Kalim would be the most obvious choice for me, and while I like him loads, he just doesn't hit the way Leona/Jamil/Idia do.

Idia is just very funny? I think he's hilarious and I have had some spoilers for chap 6 so far which made me very intruiged. 10/10 the cringiest character I like.

Leona is a smug bastard, just like Jamil, and I think I just like the general aesthetics of them both the most, and the rest of my love is fueled by fan content? I also think the both of them are absolutely hilarious (Jamil in acting like an innocent angel, Leona in not necessarily wanting to win but just wanting to beat Malleus). For some reason I am aware of them not being good people at all, but find them endearing somehow? I cannot explain it very well.

Thinking of it, I think I like most characters I like cause they make me laugh? I have been getting more fond of Jade and his ridiculous straight faced threats as well as Rook and his outrageous behavior and French?

Idk if that was the kind of answer you were looking for heheh. The past few years I just need a character to make me smile ;_;

Question of the week is still a WIP. I am currently trying to make a visual, but I want some questions prepped and I want a nice tag/title so people that don't want to see it can filter it easily, and that's where I am stuck a little.

I definitely don't mind any questions at any time really. I might get a little wordy again, so let's dive right into it so I can -hopefully- keep this from becoming an entire book again.

I had seen visuals of the game before (being a fan of Yana for Kuroshitsuji) on various social media. A friend had done a lil more research and said it was a game, but as of then, JP only. I think at that time, we both were assuming it was an otome game? When the NA version game out, I didn't know, since I wasn't really following updates anymore + it's not available where I live. Then @silenceofthecookies let me know it was out and she was playing by APK. I did not get it immediately, mostly because I *still* thought it was an otome game, and my interest in those had dwindled a whole lot. Downloaded it 2? weeks after release when I realized it was not an otome and have only missed 2? logins since, although most days I do little more than logging in and one or two rounds of lessons (unless there is an event / new story content). I am a little salty because none of my favorite characters are coming home with pulls ( ╥ω╥ ) Istg, if Fairy Gala Leona won't come home I am quitting the game.

Ehm, when it came to finding favorites, it was a bit of a blurr, having to go solely on *vibes* since I did not interact with the fandom yet. Purely visually speaking I felt mostly drawn to Idia, Leona and Azul right when I started the game? Idia is the one I picked for the first SR, hand in the mirror kinda thing.

When I started interacting with the fandom, and got more sense of the personalities, I liked a lot of characters more, with my current faves being Idia (still), Leona (still), Jamil, Kalim, Rook, Lilia and Jack? But there are no characters I really dislike, I just am more 'meh' about them and won't be pulling for their cards. I am a little salty about Azul cause I don't like his character a lot, but he decided to come home while I was pulling for the scarabia dorm cards. So now I have an SSR Azul dorm, which is arguably a very good and very desired card, but I just want... one of my faves. Just the one QwQ.

If I had known who I was gonna like at the time, I probably would've reset my first 10-pull (with the SSR guarantee) until I got dorm Leona, but at the time, I didn't know who was available, how the story was gonna go and who I was gonna like. So now I have SSR Ace, Azul and last week I finally got my pity pull from the standard showcase, only for it to be Deuce. Like i said, I will drag that dang lion by his tail for the fairy gala, as well as Kalim by his headband and Jamil by his ponytail. (・`ω´・) I am very very determined.

Finally, not that anyone asked for but if I had to choose a top 3 of fave characters, it'd probably be Leona, Jamil, Idia (mostly in that order, but it tends to shift depending on my mood). Irony is that they're all part of the three Disney movies I like most (that are featured in the game so far).

Oh Berry! Please don't take my little rant personal, it was just me yelling some frustrations out in the void 🙈 back when I started this blog 2 years ago, the tumblr *vibes* were a little different and I am struggling to get back onto that train!

Question of the week would be just that indeed! A weekly moment to talk, about anime, games, fandom, ourselves, just a way to get some more interaction bustling! I gained quite a lot of followers lately but idk any of them. Sleepover events are similar, but they are bigger, involve more aspects and usually last a couple of days!
