I loved this. I just have a few (incoherent) thoughts on this one:

The line “I left LA today” made me think of the reports that Liam left during the recording of Dig Out Your Soul, which took place partly in LA, to fly back to the UK and marry Nicole. https://www.stopcryingyourheartout.co.uk/2009/09/end-of-oasis-truth.html It seems like that was possibly the beginning of the end for Liam and Noel.

So perhaps this was a song remembering the time he left, and him thinking “I might not see those baby blue (!) eyes anymore” (the phrase “baby blue” of course came up in World’s In Need, and Oasis’ Let There Be Love—a recurring theme) because maybe Noel wouldn’t forgive him for leaving.

But then it changes to him acting as if (again, let’s just assume here) Noel left him, when he says at the beginning that he’s the one who left. And Liam reiterates that he doesn’t know how to shake these memories, which implies that they’ve already been apart for some time. But they wouldn’t have split completely yet. So maybe he’s going back and forth through time, reflecting on that night and how it’s affecting him even now.

“Desperate eyes don’t recognise the warning signs” really hit me. Also: Ever since I heard it in someone’s muddled concert footage, I’ve been waiting for like a month for official confirmation on the “come on baby blue” in World’s In Need, and receiving it was glorious. Boy is obsessed.

Okay I've been thinking: What if Steven said jk and wanted to be evil and destroy planets like the Diamonds did? Do yall think the Diamonds would turn back evil again and drop the facade (specifically White Diamond) or would they still be good. I already know Jasper would be on Steven's side tbh.

bit controversial but. i’ve recently started rewatching steven universe and i just think that while yes, it’s nice that the diamonds got a redemption, they didn’t really deserve one. or at least white diamond didn’t, yellow and blue should’ve had their redemption take a much longer time, as it feels pretty weird how they’re just. forgiven like that. maybe because it happened within such a short time span.

I know I only have like two followers on this account but I'm going to try to get an interaction either way rather from my followers or the little fan base that's still active.

I'm writing a story from Pink Diamond's point of view or possibly a third person omniscient point of view!

It's going to take a while for the first chapter to be out but I would really like for any of you to give me prompt ideas that could kind of realistically happen within Homeworld and the bond between characters.

The story will most likely eventually lead up to Pink and Pearl abandoning Homeworld and going to Earth so you can even make prompts around that setting even though it'll take a while to come out! I'm sorry.

The prompts will be spaced out and placed within the actual story so basically, you'll be reading my story and then out of nowhere it'll flow into a prompt one of you guys gave me which will then lead back into my original story... If that makes sense. You would be reading a regular story and wouldn't know a certain scene is a prompt unless you ask for a specific prompt and read up to that point in the story... Unless I say it's a prompt somewhere in the comments or something. This story will be on WATTPAD

I'm not the best with explaining my thoughts so hopefully this makes sense to some people.

The prompts can be basically anything but they would have to fit the story. So that means everything has to basically stay the same like within the show. You can't send a prompt telling me that Pink doesn't leave Spinel when she does. You can't tell me that Pink or Rose or anyone gets shattered when it didn't actually happen to any of the main gems we see throughout the show.

An example of good prompts would be maybe Pink Diamond giving Pearl a break and made Pearl a picnic or something. Or even Blue Diamond pushing away her perfection stubbornness and does something a tiny bit mischievous with Pink. Knowing their bonds in the show, those prompts can realistically happen and it doesn't go against anything canon so it would be written in my story somewhere.

People probably understand what I'm saying and I'm making my explanation overly complicated of my own overthinking but I just want to make sure you guys understand.

As an artist I will also be drawing some of these prompts or scenes of my own from the story!
