@ that person asking about winning from stage productions, Davey from Newsies here! It's really strange honestly. I remember everything happening just in regular ol New York obviously but the songs were odd. Sometimes it was just things that we said but other times it was us just singing to ourselves or having fun and goofing off (like King of New York). A lot of times though the song were a way for us to kind of rebel united under the same banner, kind of like a regular chant would? So in a way some songs really happened and others didnt for us. I don't resonate with the movie versions of us at all though for some reason
