We finally have December! Along side me trying to get an over head view whilst standing in a very precarious position. I just want to pull it out and work on it but I got asked to make a dinosaur hooded blanket and they wanted scales. I kind of want the rain to come back and give me a couple days off.

And light blue to connect them so all corners can communicate easily and clearly with each other.
This is the biggest project I've done to date, and even though it's a bit wonky, I love it and it's purposes. I'm nothing if not utilitarian.

Finally sucked it up and got the security blanket done! ☺️🙌🏾 I've been sneezing for hours and there's yarn fibers all up and through everything. I ran out of sticky lint sheets trying to get the mess cleaned up. Don't ever EVER buy this yarn. 😭
But I'm happy with how it turned out. I decided to make the blanket part longer and add a few more rows for height. The single square just looked too small and incomplete for my liking.
I showed it to the mom and dad and they love it too! 😆 I love getting enthusiastic responses from customers. 9 more days until her due date. I can't wait until they give me pictures of him wearing the shorts I made as well (here and here).

Anyone else find themselves hand making a blanket or cutting up fruit or sketching something and originally it was just something you were doing, just a task or a project you decided to do because it makes you feel good, but then you repeatedly find yourself smiling and thinking about one specific person throughout the whole process and it’s just like CONGRATULATIONS!! new love language unlocked!!

despite Lo’s power not originating from Khonshu ... he’s still ruler of the night sky and all things celestial. WHEREVER her power actually came from, it’s still from somewhere among the stars, and that means he might be able to help her
he looks at her and thinks, what if I could fine-tune that ‘Celestial Crash’ thing so that its range was narrowed to ONLY whatever target she wants to hit ? what if I could reduce the amount of energy it drains from her so she doesn’t need a week to recover after using it ONCE ?
like he looks at her and sees not only potential of power, but also potential where he could help her so that if she NEEDS to use a big power, it has fewer drawbacks
obviously as a god he’s more overpowered than even she is, and most of the time he has better control and fewer side effects simply because ... well, in essence he is the moon, the stars, the black velvet of the night sky, it’s almost effortless for him to do things like cause a meteor shower
HOWEVER, the point does stand that, well, his power isn’t the source of hers. so I don’t think he could give her a PERMANENT power boost, you know ? but if she needed to, say, use Celestial Crash but was worried about its large range and sapping her energy ... I think he would be able to narrow its focus and shield her from most of its drain for ONE attack.
it wouldn’t be a permanent effect on her power, but he has such vast command over the cosmos, he might be able to give her a boost. it would be a conscious effort on his part simply because he’s not the source of her power, so he would need to be there with her or be aware that she needed help, but he could do that as many times as needed.
when his effort stops, the boost to her power stops. and if she uses Celestial Crash SEVERAL TIMES, it would probably still be a drain on her. but I think if Khonshu was there to help her, she wouldn’t need to worry as much about using it ONCE.
