Listen, I know it's not really possible because even though Operation Ostrix is supposed to be a long-term mission it realistically should be taken care of in a few months, but.

I just think that it'd be funny if when Damian's 14-15, after almost a decade of tsundere pining, he finally gets his shit together and asks Anya out. So when Anya later tells Twilight that she's dating Sy-on Boy he's like FUCK YEAH because he didn't expect Plan B to go this well, this is the best possible excuse to get invited to the Desmonds' house????

But also this is the worst thing that's ever happened to him as a father

Watching the first episode of Spy x Family is hilarious to me because

Loid is so bent on this mission he tells the audience

“As for Anya, there are lots of other children out there. Just need to start over from square one.”

Now this is heart breaking to hear that this man- even as a spy, is willing to leave this young child to possibly die at the hands of his own enemy for his mission, but then is followed by

saving her- because that’s him in a disguise.

Anya might not have been expecting him, but he was definitely found out when he approached her. Look at the way her pupils expand

This is the first episode, where Loid has explained that for the mission he will sacrifice who he sees fit. Which is immediately countered with- even after considering to leave her with the enemy, and after he tells her to head to the police station, saving her and taking her home.

Whether or not she can read his thoughts, he is still the adult with the authority, and may use the excuse that it’s easier but he has totally taken that tired and protective dad figure into his mission.

I think it says a lot about Loid that like he just ASSUMES that Damien will be able to invite Anya over to his fathers house. Like, this kid has probably not seen that place in years and will be lucky to see it when he graduates from high school.

Loid, when Anya and Damien make friends but is becomes clear that Damien never sees his dad: Oh I guess I have TWO children now

Concept: Yor and Loid don't end up having to fight each other physically because Yor is hired by Loid's organization after Loid finally gains access to the Desmond house through Anya, but the two do clash mentally over the realization that Anya's growing closeness to Damian as a result of Loid's encouragement could result in emotional turmoil when Donovan is killed and Anya has to see her classmate fall to pieces.
