free-form / character-driven rp encounters. self-explanatory! i prefer free-form rp that’s closer to collaborative writing rather than getting involved with all sorts of messy dice systems. i will use dice systems if they are required for aforementioned, but tabletop-style rp has never been my cup of tea.

a crooked kingdom. information broker. conman. thief. all of these are words that could be used to describe what he does for a living, but what would life be if you never strove for anything more? leonnaux desires to expand his influence in the eorzean underworld by forging connections to others and having debts owed to him by others. of particular interest are other information brokers, professional fixers and problem-solvers, and fences. with regards to what he offers: neutral ground at the cloak & dagger, his own skills as an investigator, and perhaps some arcane assistance, of course.

broadening horizons. are you a mentor or teacher looking to take on a student or apprentice? leonnaux is interested in expanding his horizons in a variety of fields, including culinary arts, swordsmanship, and language-learning. in exchange, he can offer coin as well as some knowledge of his own. he is also interested in finding legitimate work, travelling, participating in leisure organizations such as book clubs, and going out for drinks.

Watching an extra on my TNG blu-rays and Denise Crosby mentioned that she and Brent were the “clowns” of the set, always goofing off and making each other laugh. That being the case, I am fascinated with how many takes it took them to make it through that awful “fully functional” scene. It’s such a bad scene and the dialogue is so cringy and bad, it a miracle they were both able to make it through it with completely straight faces at all.
