honestly i’m really fascinated by people who see someone talking about how a certain grammar point in a language can be difficult for others and think it’s appropriate and necessary for them to say “pffft, you think THAT’S difficult? you should try learning MY target/native language, it’s sooooo much harder!” like ????? what value do you think you’re bringing to the discussion? what feelings do you think you’re inspiring in others? or do you just. not think about that because you’re desperate for other people to revere your obviously superior intelligence?
