ALRIGHT. part 3. I wrote this in 20 minutes and I have no regrets about it at all. @gyubby99 this is still so angsty.

I have not proofread this. Forgive me!

This is in Jack's pov this time so.. enjoy!

Jack flew to the town just after he had figured out what he could do with the staff he had found on the lake. "Hello!" He greeted cheerily to the townspeople who walked past. No answer from them. Alright then, not in the best mood today he thought as he walked past people who didn't even acknowledge his existence. "Oh hello! Can you tell me where I am?" He asked a child that was running and playing. But they ran right through him, literally. It was as if he wasn't even there. He stepped back in suprise, fear, and sadness. Did that kid just run through him? Jack backed away, he put his hand on his chest, pressing down to see if he was real himself. Jack walked away from the village and flew to a castle that he had seen on his way.

He flew to one of the windows, a girl sat in the room. It was early in the morning, still dark out. She was leaning against her wall, her knees held close to her chest as her platinum blonde hair was struggling to be held in place. He looked around her room. Snow. Everywhere he looked there was snow. He glanced at her window, it was slightly open. He pushed it and walked through. The girl looked up at him. For a moment he thought she saw him. But when she got up and walked right through him to close the window, his hopes died. "Elsa?" Came a man's voice from the other side of the door. The man entered. He had strawberry blonde hair And a small mustache. "Elsa, we need to talk about what happened earlier tonight," he stated as he sat on her bed. He held his hands to him due to the striking cold. "Theres nothing to talk about," she mumbled as she pulled her gloves onto her hand more. Jack raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "Elsa, what happened at the lake?" The man asked. The girl known as Elsa sighed. She turned to face her father, tears were in her eyes. "He wanted to help me let go of my worries so, we went to skate.... the ice started to crack and he saved me... but when I went to reach for him to save him I-" Elsa couldn't continue, her voice cracked. Jack's eyes widened. Did she mean the lake he had just come out of? "I struck him in the heart before he fell in," she finished. The man's eyes widened. "Elsa, what happened to Jackson wasn't your fault," he stated Jack's ears went numb. 'Jackson'? Was that him? Jack had no idea what was happening. All he knew was that he felt a strong pull to this girl. One he couldn't understand at the moment. All he knew was that he was destined to be with her somehow, in some way. He made a vow I that moment that he would never leave her side.

A few days passed, elsa hadn't eaten. Oftentimes Jack would come visit her while she was having a nightmare. She would cry out names. And cry in her sleep before sitting up quickly and hugging herself. Her hair was in tangles, her eyes had darkened, and there were dried and frozen tears on her cheeks. One morning while Jack was sitting on her bed as he observed her mess with her gloves. A knock sounded on her door. Both of them looked up. Elsa stood and walked to the door, opening it so no one could see inside. Jack walked over so he could hear the conversation better. He leaned against the wall next to where Elsa was peaking out of the door. "Your parents are gone," the staff member had told her. Jack's eyes widened as he gagged her reaction. Her eyes had teared up again and she shut the door in the man's face. Jack stood up straight as he watched Elsa walk to the middle of her room. When she heard the man's footsteps walk away she collapsed onto the floor, the softly falling snow stilled around them. Jack watched as she broke down in tears. He walked up to her and crouched down next to her. He tried putting his hand on her shoulder, but it went right through her. He couldn't do anything. He couldn't help her. How was he supposed to help her? In a panic, he created a snowflake and blew ut over to her nose. She stopped crying. Silence. She wiped her eyes and went to sit on her bed. Did he just do that? Did he make her stop crying? If he did then... how?

Three years passed. Jack had come to see Elsa later in the morning. He spotted her in her room as always. She was putting on makeup.

She covered the small dark circles under her eyes and combed her hair, putting it up into a bun. She was already dressed in a dark turquoise dress, Arendellian symbols at the bottom. She also wore a magenta cape. It trailed behind her as she walked out of her room, Jack followed closely behind her.

Jack was at her coronation. He could tell how nervous she was. Her hands were shaking and she didn't wear a smile. But the coronation came and passed, and it was now time for the after party. Jack watched her carefully from the corner of the room. Her sister had stood beside her, and the two began laughing and having fun.

There was a small squabble between them, but it was quickly overrun by a bigger one. Jack made his way to stand nex to Elsa. "Anna what do you know about true love?" "More than you! All you know is how to shut people out!" The redhead scolded. Jack's eyes widened. He looked to Elsa. Tears brimmed her eyes. She was remembering things. "You asked for my blessing, but my answer is no," she stated firmly. "The party is over, close the gates," Elsa muttered to one of the guards. Jack felt awful for both of them. "No Elsa, wait!" Anna exclaimed before she grabbed her sister's glove. Jack was panicking now. He knew nothing good could come of this. "Hey give me my glove!" Elsa shouted. "No! Elsa please I can't live like this anymore!" Anna pleaded. "Then leave," Elsa mumbled. She hugged herself and turned to walk away. Jack knew she didn't mean it, but he wasn't sure her sister knew. "What did I ever do to you!?" Anna screamed. "Enough anna," Elsa muttered before walking away. She was breathing hard, Jack ciukd see it. She was trying not to freak out. "No! Why?! Why fo you shut me out?! Why do you shut the world out?! What are you so afraid of?!?!" "I said ENOUGH!!" Elsa screamed as she threw her ungloved hand out, forming ice spikes on the floor. Jack leaped back, as did everyone else in the room. He looked at Elsa. Her hand was trying to find the doorknob, and when she did, she fled. Jack followed her quickly, flying to catch up to her. She ran through the courtyard. People were congratulating her. One lady asked if she was alright. All Elsa could do was shake her head and back away before running into the fountain,  her ungloved hand catching her, freshening freshening water in it into sharp spikes. "There she is! Stop her!" "Please just stay away from me! Stay away!" She pleaded while waving her hands. A mistake she understood too late before ice spiked out of her palm, making the man fall. Jack looked to her. Her face was stricken with fear as she looked around for any face that would understand. But she found no one. So, instead, she ran. And Jack ran after her. "Elsa wait!" He called, even though he knew she couldn't hear him. She made it to the fjord. As she stepped on it, it froze. "Elsa no-" He stated as he stepped in front of her. She ran right through him. He flew to catch up with her, ignoring his breaking heart. She was running on water. And she ran away from her kingdom, and her sister.

Okay here's part two. This is more in elsas pov. I might make a part 3 with Jack's pov around the same time that this takes place.

Again. This is so angsty and sad. Jelsa has really good angst potential I swear-

This hasn't really been proofread so I apologize for any mistakes.

The day passed on. The party still went on like normal. And Elsa's parents still left for the wedding the morning after. "Do you have to go?" Elsa asked as she stood up from her previous curtsey. "You'll be fine, elsa," her father stated with a small smile. But elsa wasn't fine. Each night she went to sleep with nightmares. Both about how she hurt Anna, and about how Jack died just a few days ago. Elsa couldn't eat, or sleep. She stayed in her room, hugging her knees close to her as snow fell softly around her.

One morning a knock sounded on her door. It was Kai. "Princess Elsa?" He asked, his voice a bit muffled through the door. "There is something that we need to speak you you about," he stated, his voice a bit melancholy. Elsa opened the door a crack, he could only see her, not her snow covered room. His eyes widened. Elsa's hair was a mess, her eyes were red and they had dark bags underneath them, she was skinnier than usual. "What is it?" She asked quietly, her gloved hands holding the door. "Its about your parents," he replied, worry and sadness on his face. "Their ship crashed. They're gone," he ripped off the bandaid. Elsa's eyes widened as tears started to brim her cheeks again. She closed the door. When she heard Kai walk away she collapsed onto the floor, the snow around her stilled as she cried.

The next day was the funeral. Elsa was expected to go, but she couldn't. Her powers were out of control, she couldn't go, she'd hurt everyone. So instead she sat on the floor of her stilled room, against the door. No snow was falling, it had been like that since yesterday, it was just still in the air, frozen in time. There was a knock on the door. "Elsa?" Annas voice shone through. Elsa had left her to bury their parents alone. She felt so awful about it. All she wanted was for her sister to be happy and safe. "Elsa? Please, I know you're in there," Anna pleaded. Still Elsa made no move to come out. "People have been asking where you've been," Anna spoke some more to try to coax Elsa out. Elsa remained in her room, tears prickling her eyes again. "They've been telling me to have courage, and I'm trying to... I just need you to let me in," Anna continued. "We only have each other," anna stated, her voice cracking. Elsa could feel her lean against the door. "Its just you and me. What are we gonna do?" She asked as she slid down the door to sit like Elsa was. Still Elsa made no move. "Do you wanna build a snowman?" Anna asked the question she had asked her sister for 11 years. But still, no answer. Anna hugged her knees to her chest and began crying. Elsa did the same.

3 years later, elsa had come of age to where she could officially become queen of Arendelle. It was her coronation day today. Her nerves were set. She still had nightmares. Some about hurting Anna, some about Jack's death, and some about her parents death.

    The coronation carried out.

"Queen Elsa, of Arendelle," Kai spoke at the party. She made her way onto the familiar stage in the room. Elsa had made it through her coronation. She was relieved. She didn't cause a scene. "Princess Anna, of Arendelle," Kai announced. Anna jogged up. Kai readjusted her to stand next to Elsa and the party resumed. Elsa bit her lip. She needed to say something, it was getting so awkward. "Hi," She started as she looked to Anna. "'Hi' me?" Anna asked, suprised. Elsa nodded. "Oh! Uh, hi!" She replied. "You look beautiful," Elsa stated. "Thank you! You look beautifuller! No-not fuller. You dont look fuller. Just more-more beautiful," Anna stuttered. Elsa giggled. "Thank you," Silence again. "So, this is what a coronation party looks like," Elsa tried. "Its warmer than I thought," Anna replied. "And what is that amazing smell?" Elsa asked. The two took a deep sniff of the air. "Chocolate!" They exclaimed at the same time and laughed. Anna made a move to speak, but was interrupted by Kai, introducing another dignitary. "Westleton!" The man scolded after Kai said his name wrong. "The Duke of westleton, your majesty," he calmed. "As your closest partner in trade, it seems only fitting I offer you your first dance as queen," he stated before making crazy dance moves, ultimately bowing. His toupee fell halfway off his head before he stood up. The girls snickered before regaining their composure. "Thank you, only I dont dance," she replied, a hint of sadness behind her eyes as she remembered the last person she danced with. "But my sister does," she smirked. Anna did a double take before the Duke dragged her to the dance floor. "Sorry," Elsa muttered as she waved to her sister.

Minutes later Anna walked back. "Well, he was spritely!" Elsa exclaimed. "Yeah, especially for a man in heels," she groaned. "Are you okay?" Elsa giggled. "I've never been better! This is so nice! I wish it could be like this all the time," Anna smiled as she looked at Elsa expectantly. "Me too," elsas smile faded as she remembered what her powers could do. What they had already done. "But it's cant," She finished, sadly. "Well why not? I mean we-" "It just can't!" Elsa snapped. Anna's shoulders fell and she excused herself. As Anna walked away, elsa looked after her, guilt shown in her features.

An hour or so later, elsa was mingling with other dignitaries when Anna came back, hand in hand with a tall stranger. "Elsa!" She shouted, " I mean- queen... me again," she stated before pulling the man up to her side. "Prince Hans of the southern isles," Anna introduced. Elsa nodded her head to him in a small bow. "We would like your blessing of our marriage!" Anna exclaimed. Elsas eyes widened in suprise. "Marriage?" She asked. "I'm sorry I'm confused," she stated bitterly. But Anna's words came out in a jumble. Elsa was panicking. Anna was all she had, and this complete stranger wanted to marry her? Something didn't sit right. "Anna, no one's brothers are staying her and no one is getting married," Elsa stated. "May I talk to you please? Alone?" She asked as she wrung her hands together. Anna disagreed, insisting Elsa speak her mind. Elsa stood straight. "You can't marry a man you just met." "You can if it's true love," "Anna what do you know about true love?" "More than you! All you know is how to shut people out!" Elsas eyes widened. Time went a bit slower. Her mind went to Jack. She had struck him with her powers before he fell to his death.  Anna was right. All she did was shut him out. But the second she didn't was the second he died. "You asked for my blessing, but my answer is no. Now, excuse me," elsas voice cracked. "The party is over. Close the gates," she stated bitterly to a guard. Anna protested and grabbed elsas glove off of her hand. Elsa gasped and held her ungloved hand close to herself. "Give me my glove!" She shouted. "No. Elsa please I can't live like this anymore!" Anna pleaded, tears in her eyes. "Then leave," Elsa stated even though she meant the exact opposite. She turned away, hunched an defeated. She just wanted to go back to her room to get another set of gloves on. "What did I ever do to you?!" Anna shouted. "Enough anna," Elsa stated as she walked away, her breathing picking up. "No! Why? Why do you shut me out?! Why do you shut the world out?! What are you so afraid of?!?!" "I said enough!!!" Elsa shouted as she flung her ungloved hand, creating ice spikes over the ballroom floor.

    Something New

Here’s my second installment for Elsarik week! Set in the Tattoo!AU started by @couragedontdesertme. There is a prequel to this story, just haven’t gotten it finished yet. Alarik, as always, belongs to the amazing @patricia-von-arundel.

    Something new

Creamy paper, rough in texture, made uneven by the tiny seeds pressed within. The ink was a deep shade of green, almost black, the penmanship neat.

    Till Min Älskling.

Elsa brushed a finger across the last word, careful not to smudge the ink. Älskling. Darling. The memory of Alarik whispering it against her neck still gave her goosebumps, but even more so, it made her…

It made her love. Love the gangly man who'd set up, of all things, a flower shop right next door to her tattoo parlor. A man who had started out as little more than a business neighbor, but had become so much more. Made her look forward to his presence, something she had long believed would never happen with anyone outside her family.

Elsa traced the word again, her hand shaking. She wasn't seeing it on the card anymore. No, it was on a different medium, one she knew well.

The bell above the shop door tickled. "Hey, you said you needed something?" Anna came to stand next to her.

Elsa didn't take her eyes off the card. "I… I need your help with a new tattoo."

    …………

"Hello Elsa. How is your ankle doing? Better I hope!"

Elsa smiled at Alarik's elderly neighbor Dorothy. "It is, thank you. It was just a sprain."

Dorothy patted Elsa on the arm. "Good! Well, I'm sure the two of you will have a nice night planned, so I won't keep you. Enjoy!" Dorothy gave Elsa a cheery wave before shuffling back into her own apartment.

Elsa shook her head, knocking on the door. Within seconds, Alarik had it open, beaming, holding his arms open. She walked into his embrace, lifting her chin so he could kiss her. It was brief- they were still in public- but he kept his arms around her and walked them backwards into the apartment, using his foot to hook the door close.

“Hey,” he murmured against her hair. “I missed seeing you today.”

“It was busy today…” Elsa whispered, but she could hear the shakiness in her voice. Alarik tensed against her, and she swore internally. She hadn’t meant to address this so early.

“Elsa? Is everything alright? Did someone try to hurt you?” He pulled back, his eyes roaming her body, checking for any sign of injury.

“No, no, I’m fine, I just…” She shook her head, trying to figure out the words she needed.

Alarik took her hands in his, giving them a gentle squeeze, but said nothing. He watched her with gentle eyes, letting her decide what she needed to say, if anything. Elsa knew she could say nothing, and Alarik would never push. But no. She could not do that to him.

She guided his hands to the hem of her shirt, helping him pull it up and over her head. As soon as the shirt was off, her newest work was immediately visible. Alarik gasped, reaching out with a hand, but stopping just inches away from her skin.

    “Elsa… is that…”

    "Yes."

Covered by clear, waterproof dressing, Alarik's handwritten älskling had been turned into a fresh tattoo just above her heart. When she nodded her permission, he reached out and brushed his fingers across it. Despite the barrier of the dressing, Elsa swore she felt his gentle touch, and couldn't suppress a small shudder at the sensation.

For several moments, Alarik seemed unable to speak, and Elsa worried that he was upset. Had she acted rashly? Would he feel burdened by it, his writing on her skin? Just as she was about to pull away and find her shirt, Alarik looked up at her, tears in his eyes.

"You chose this? My writing? Elsa I… I…" He shook his head. "I don't have the words to express just how much this means to me. I… may I kiss you?"

Whether it was a laugh or sob, Elsa wasn't quite sure, but whatever the sound that escaped her came from the deep relief that washed over her at his words. She took the initiative to wrap her arms around his neck, standing on her toes to reach him.

Their lips met with far more fervor than earlier. He pulled her tight against him, his tongue seeking entrance, and she parted her lips, moaning when he drew it across her own. She wound her fingers in his hair, pulling gently, and he responded with a soft groan. When the need for air became too great, they pulled apart, pressing their foreheads together, still clutching one another tightly.

Elsa realized that Alarik was shaking, and opened her eyes to see tears running down his cheeks. She used her thumb to brush them away.

    "Alarik? Is everything okay?"

He smiled then, the brilliant, wide smile she so dearly loved. "Everything is wonderful. I love you so much, Elsa. So, so very much." He pressed a soft kiss to her cheek, but the shaking continued.

    "Alarik, you're shaking."

He drew in a deep breath, eyes closing for a moment before he opened them. She saw fear there, but also determination.

    "Will you marry me?"

For a moment, everything froze. Her world narrowed to him, every detail on his face sharp and clear. Then she realized she'd already made her decision. She'd made her decision when she'd seen his writing. Elsa took his hand and once more placed it on the tattoo.

    "Yes."

From a magic as old as the glaciers, were born the spirits of air, fire, water, and earth. Our world enjoyed a time of harmony, the spirits keeping each other in balance. Over time, a fifth spirit was born: the human spirit. Together, they created a dazzling harmony, and our world danced. But even one spirit out of sync can cause chaos. The fifth spirit lost its rhythm and the harmony was broken. The elements raged out of control. Our world was fractured. When the chaos finally fell silent, the spirits had vanished, never to be seen again. But it is said, that if the fifth spirit can find its rhythm, the others will return, bringing with them that beautiful harmony, and the world can dance once again.  -- Myth: A Frozen Tale
