In order for Lucas to have a story arc that didn’t involve him being the background character with a few mentionable lines or being a last minute hero when el is for some reason iunable to use her abilities, they had to sideline multiple characters COMPLETELY.

This isn’t me complaining btw, I’m just wondering why it didn’t happen sooner….. and if it’ll continue until season 5..

I just think they could’ve done more with the other kids at the lab. You’re telling me they all die? Come on… At least have us connect with them in some way. Introduce us to a few of them and make us like them just a little. Instead that just have them sitting around making faces and when we do actually get a insight on who a few of them are, they’re complete assholes.

And how did 11 beat 1? He seemed basically op. And I know that El is crazy powerful, but having her beat the bad guy so early is just kinda annoying. It takes the suspense and edge out of it all, you know? She beat him once so obviously she’s gonna do it again. He seems a lot less threatening now in my opinion.

I’m tired of the telekinesis. The show is based off of or takes huge inspiration from “Fire-starter” and also takes ideas from other famous movies and stories, why not sample some of the abilities as well? They did it in season 2 with Kali. Why not give other kids like mind control or pyrokinesis? Or number 1 could’ve had multiple abilities that actually made him a unique villain.
