Where would the RO want to go on a date for a off day of the league?

Well, Chapter 4 kind of answers this, being a free day and all, but...

Ignis loves the quiet, but if she can be unrecognized (so, with her League collar), she loves going to stores. She didn't get much of a chance when younger to just have normal people fun, so taking her to the mall so she can walk through the aisles, see clothes and everything else, and then topping it off with some restaurant food inside the place would be a pretty kick-ass day, if you asked her. Just be with her as she pretends to be normal, that's all she wants. There's also... one other thing she likes, but you'll learn more (and perhaps even participate, if you're lucky) eventually.

Lat is a total home-girl. She doesn't say no to parties or anything, but she can get that whenever she wants. A good snooze-day with her 'person' where they watch a bunch of movies from the 80s and 90s (she likes Jackie Chan :p), stay in their pajamas the whole time, and eat whatever is easiest to make and eat on the couch would be her kind of date. Miss Kitamura wants to relax. Aki's a bit more complex, because she's never really been on a date before. She'd be up for basically everything the MC suggested, because she just wants to experience things with the person she cares for. You can go all the way from hiking to a day-long horror movie marathon with popcorn in your rooms and she'll be ecstatic. She just wants to be together.

Now, Nova does require an answer, because he does spend his free day in Chapter 4 doing a bit of an errand, but it's not that far off. He likes animals a lot, so he'd like to go to the zoo. The country he comes from has carnivals pretty often, and he likes those as well, so if the stars align, he'd like to take the MC to one. Forewarning, though, he's not very keen on many of the... Zipper-like rides (the ones that basically tell gravity to get screwed), so he's more likely to take you through the stalls and get you all the prizes on the second try. Mars really likes the ocean. He'd take the MC to the beach, and maybe go scuba-diving. The whole water pressure and everything helps with his super-hearing, too, so it'd be doubly relaxing, since he has his partner and can give them his full attention as well. After that, well... he's the most traditional of the ROs, so he'd likely have a reservation at some high-end place for dinner. You did what he liked during the day, so it's just fair that he spoils you during dinner.

Shadow’s beach day 🏖

Does anyone else feel like they just suck at the game when playing Sunless Skies?

Like I’m 40+ hours into it, and I don’t think I’ve even started my main quest properly. And right now I’m stuck in Eleutheria on over 90% terror and already 3/4 nightmares so I’m kinda running out of options. 

I don’t dare open the game because I know as soon as I do it’s gonna be game over. And the early game is so much grinding and I’ve just hit level 20, so having to start over right now feels like such a chore.

I’m caught between trying to make a run for Pan (across the map from me) or exploring an undiscovered part of the map and hoping that I run into something good. There’s also a spot that might spawn a Scorn Fluke, which could give me a bit more time if I kill it fast enough, but that’s only if it actually spawns one and I succeed with the iron challenge

Wish me luck because the skies are so very cruel.

Ok, so 13 is My favorite line of dialogue from this fic was [xyz]. What inspired it? but you didn’t add the line so it’s the wrong number/I should choose myself? Or ask me again in the notes)))

I would choose the whole dialogue from the reveal scene, I think, I’m very proud of it, Rhodey is so happy there, and Tony’s so dumb. It wasn’t inspired by anything particular, I just had the vague idea — Rhodey realizes they’re dumbasses / Tony has his angsty he doesn’t want me back party and we find out that he was in love all this time and hid it. And then I wrote it all in like an hour of free time I had before work, and it turned out pretty good by my standards, hehe.

20. What is something you wish more people noticed about this fic?

This fic is pretty straightforward — I had this idea of a soulmates au concept that is just perfect for them (I mean, Tony with his issues and his War Machine mark — it just writes itself). So no hidden motives/cool easter eggs for this one.

But the thing I’m mostly proud about this fic is the language — I like its rhythm, I like the sound of the text. For example, in this — “you have a name on your wrist written in letters bright” — I have this “letters bright” inversion that makes the whole sentence sound more poetic, things like that. I would like for people to notice my efforts))) I have an interesting relationship with English (meaning: I’m still learning it), so it’s really big for me when I manage to write smth moderately good.

Also, just remembered: the color of the soulmarks is not random, it’s connected to your soulmate. Rhodey has gold letters because iron man gold, and Tony has silver letters because war machine silver!
