Decacean and Thalarossion, two legendary pokemon locked in a centuries-long battle.
Thalarossion (thalassophobia + corrosion) lies in wait in the hadal zone of the ocean. When something approaches, it attacks with its lightning fast reflexes and deadly toxins. Each of its three eyes sees different wavelengths, allowing it to see through darkness or camouflage. It has the ability Interstellar Rivalry, granting it a chance to hit with supereffective damage if the target resists or is immune to the move it uses.
Decacean (decay + cetacean) wanders the cosmos, finding matter to replace the parts of its body that have rotted away. Its bones are the only part of its original body that is still intact, and over time they have hardened to be stronger than steel. It has the ability Interoceanic Rivalry, granting it a chance to take not very effective damage from a supereffective move.

This giant Squid washed up on the Beach at Kommetjie, South Africa,  during the night. The museum is busy collecting it now. 📸 by @Ali Paulus
I always love reading about sea monsters that get washed up on the beach, even if it is just a badly decomposed whale 90% of the time
@irongcld (Lizzie)
“I think it’s nice that the town has went back to normal. I don’t know if I’d be okay with not having magic for the rest of my life. It’s kind of a part of me, honestly.” Nick shrugged. “Finding out the aftermath now, to see what everyone else has done with these apparently part-time powers.”
@ofxscavengcrs (Sabrina)
“Sorry I’m late. I had to help the new girl at work and it took longer than I thought.” Nick replied, moving over to greet Sabrina with a kiss and smiled at her before moving to sit down. “I don’t know how I got roped into training someone, but I don’t like it.”
