Behold. Bella "the Gremlin"
nicknamed for her adorable fluffy ears which everyone agrees kinda make her look like....a gremlin.
Ok I'm gonna formulate a new aesthetic based on a musical taste of mine.
See, over the past couple of years I've made a deep study of internet aesthetics and I've seen that they mostly overlap with each other. Most of them are centred around colour pallets and fashion-ism, and some of the older ones are centred around music. Here's a list of them separated by categories:
Fashion/colour centred
Goblincore;
Cottagecore;
Dark Academia;
Light Academia;
Art Hoe.
Music centred
Gothic
Punk
Grunge
Emo/Scene
Now, the centre of these aesthetics might be music or fashion but the construction of them derive from ideas, some more concrete and deep than others. For example, Punk is the idea of non conformism and anti-establishment, and DIY, whereas Cottagecore shares a similar ideas, it does not seek to convey its message through shock and offence.
Although most of them have defined philosophy and ideas, I feel the more recent ones, and the ones that were birthed on the internet, lack consistency on their overall ideas.
You could say that Soggycore and Goblincore share many of their ideas in a manner that it's almost too difficult to discern one from the other.
What I am proposing here is an aesthetic with defined overall idea and more intricacies of what it means.
Enter Nettlecore.

Here’s a bit more progress on the pillowcase I’m making to match my blanket. I’ve ran out of brown yarn, I used the last of it for one small rectangle which will be attatched with another row soon.
