I???? HIEN IS THE LORD OF DOMA!!! If Kiri committed a serious crime SHE'S SENDING HERSELF OFF !! She wouldn't want to put Hien in that position and even if it was an unplanned thing, she has the brains enough to know she has to remove herself from Hien in order to keep his reputation. She's going to make a big dramatic 'GOODBYE I HATE YOU' scene at the docks before stealing a boat and leaving asdlfkj.

Hien is really the brains in this pair so he would do his best to help Kiri navigate the law but he certainly isn't about to break law for her. Again, it would be a pretty big stain on his already rough reputation. I just realized this is all under the assumption Kiri did something wrong and not hien sdlkfj

The only crime I think Hien could commit that would upset Kiri is stealing the last of her snacks.

Kiri finding out that Hien has had a bad day means she's on the ready to distract him the moment they get time alone together. A light massage of his shoulders, a bowl of sweet fruit served with some sake if it's late enough, and sprinkle in some stray kisses. It's all in an effort to help him unwind a bit before she inquires about the day, helping him talk through it and even giving her own two cents on whatever might be troubling him. If that doesn't seem to help, she's more than eager to take him by the hand and lead him outside where they can take a long walk to get some fresh air.

Hien discovers Kiri's day has been rough involves food, sake, and fishing. He'll lead her out to the vendors in Doma or Kugane for quick, delicious food and drinks before suggesting she grab some fishing gear for a little midnight trip out into the wilds. He'll walk hand in hand with her along the banks of the One River, telling her stories and asking her to tell him stories in return. Their walk is usually more than enough to calm her down, just being beside a body of water seems to help. Hien takes her to a good fishing spot but instead of fishing they take their shoes off and wade into the water a bit.

Kiri doesn't always understand the frustrations Hien has in his busy life, so talking it out is always a second or third option for her. Her own input might only stir the pot but sometimes an outside perspective helps too. Hien knows the best way to get Kiri in a better mood is to get her out of her head for a bit. Doing physical activities like fishing or going for strolls is the best comfort, though holding her hand or kissing her also helps.
