happy sunday night kids ! This weekend has made me realize a few things. One, there’s not enough caffeine in the world to give anyone the strength to keep up with @piraticalwit. Two, family really isn’t everything. And three, it’s never too late to embrace what you want out of life. That being said, I want to finally embrace a side of my personality that Lucas and I have already explored here on tumblr as well. It’s hard to remember that we don’t have to be stuck in roles that have been forced upon us. I would really like it if my friends and followers here on tumblr helped me to test out a few new pronouns. I am gender-fluid and while I am very comfortable with ‘she’, I am also open to the use of ‘he’ and even ‘they’ on occasion and would encourage the use of them. My birthday is coming up soon, so I’m treating myself to a little identity self care. I will be back here soon ! Three day weekend at work next weekend and these past few days really helped me recharge.

re the wedding post i have something nuts to say. if both my spouse and i liked horses (statistically unlikely given the demographics of women in the equestrian community lol) my unrealistic fantasy is we do something outside and do a little dressage freestyle as our entrance culminating in us meeting and dismounting at the officiant and doing the ceremony as usual from there

For those interested, Ganondorf’s “Black Gerudo Stallion”, and the breed of horse he prefers is the Percheron. The Percheron is very likely the breed that Nintendo used while conceptualizing the giant horse; these are the largest and strongest modern breed of horses and commonly dwarf their owners and riders.
The Percheron is known for its power. They were known for towing heavy barges and hauling goods. The Percheron is considered to be ”a draft horse”, that is, a muscular horse bred specifically for heavy lifting and its immense strength. Draft horses are generally intended to pull carriages, wagons, and cargo loads. Despite their size and despite being commonplace in manual labor jobs, Percherons are very graceful creatures. They are incredibly smart horses and tend to take to learning new equestrian disciplines quite easily. Their grace and their strength make them perfect for jumping, riding, and showmanship.
Percheron horses are considered to have “a good work ethic” and a good disposition, they are calm horses that thrive when they are being utilized. They are also excellent “beginner” horses, because of their patience, docile temperament and gentle nature. They don’t spook easily, either!
