thinking about hawks having a childhood friend who was at the hpsc with him, who he hasn't seen in years. and the friend joins the lov and when hawks gets into the league through dabi, he instantly recognises the guy as the only friend he had. they then talk and get close like they always had been, reminiscing about their childhood days

and dabi gets so jealousy when he sees the two together. he's the one who got hawks into the league and it doesn't matter if the guy was best friends with the hero, hawks is his. and it certainly doesn't help that the hero is absolutely smitten with the guy, always blushing, blushing like a damn fool around the guy

dabi is of course not looking for ways to get rid of the guy without upsetting hawks too much, no, nope, no way, he doesn't care that much anyway

Suddenly thought about A!Enji and O!Hawks deciding to have kids.

Throughout the whole pregnancy, Hawks does essentially nothing more than cry and complain. Like- he's just constantly whining, crying and complaining for approximately 9 months-

Basically non-stop and don't let him have something to actually be upset about.

Enji repeatedly has the fleeting thought of "Rei was never like this" but after ruminating on that line of thought for long enough feels the need to stop thinking about that. Cue the birth of their first pup, Enji is this close 👌🏽 to quitting parenting again. After all this time he'd forgotten how much noise can come out of such a tiny human being.

He definitely wouldn't have minded not being reminded.

Hawk's hormones are still on the fritz so now he has two versions of Keigo crying almost constantly for a collective 18 hours of the day.

And what the fuck is he supposed to do about it except fight the urge to bang his head against the wall?

About six months later Hawks is fine and the baby has quieted down some, except Hawks walks into the Bedroom one day, trying to tell him something but is also trying not to laugh and can barely talk through it but eventually gets it out that they're expecting another one and the look Enji gives him is deadly but it's hilarious to Hawks. So this time it's about a year and a half worth of endless whining, crying, complaining and shrieking and Enji can't decide if he regrets this or not.

In the end, though, he's glad to have them. Once they've stopped keeping him up at night that is. "they" including Hawks.

Current brain rot is Dabi being protective of Hawks before they meet up again as adults. When the LOV is in a meeting with another group and they bring up targeting Hawks, everyone pauses and looks to Dabi for direction because he made it clear that the No. 2 hero will not be one of their targets. When Hawks turned 18, Dabi had the news on constantly to catch his debut and after all these years finally see and hear about Keigo again, even if its from a distance. When Hawks is up against quirks he struggles against, Dabi keeps himself in the area. Just in case.

When Hawks meets up with him, Dabi wants to be upset. He wants to be angry that someone is forcing his Keigo to put himself in this dangerous situation. That they'd force Hawks to be corrupted by hanging around people like him. He wants to be angry, but he's too busy searching every inch of Hawks' face for changes that couldn't be seen on TV or in pictures.

Mermaid! Dabi slaps Hawks with his tail when they first meet because he's so annoyed that Hawks' face is too beautiful.
