I do wonder if mhy will ever make a non-gacha game or if they're just gonna go on with their current game model. not particularly a complaint, as it's perfectly possible to play through the entirety of the story of hi3 and genshin without spending a penny, plus most of everything else the game offers. I say most because a lot of hi3's extra stuff can be considered competitive which some may argue you need to pull "good" characters for, but the gacha rates are much better than genshin, there's no 50/50 and reruns are way more frequent. I do wonder why they've announced two new games so close to one another though, I would've thought they'd wait for the release of Star Rail before teasing ZZZ, because imo it would be smarter to have a revolving door of games, so in a few years when hi3 and genshin get closer to their endings they can release new gacha games to stimulate the fan base again. but idk maybe they're just greedy or have lots of new plans to get on with. I want to say that ZZZ targets a slightly different market to hi3/genshin but I'm not really sure if it does. It's similar visuals and music and cute/cool characters, and it doesn't look like the "fps" lots of people theorised about, which would be a whole new ballpark for them. also I think the people complaining that they're focusing on other stuff and not genshin are stupid đź’ť they have so much money and can afford different teams to work on different games.
