I've never really been affectionate with my friends before 2022, but, after quarantine touch starvation, that took an 180. Changed schools and at my completely fresh friend group i am now the huggy friend and i think it'd be cool if something like that were to happen to Hunter. It also fits because before, i thought i hated hugs, but then found out i just don't like my dad's hugs (great dad btw but not the hugs) so like, learning to be affectionate despite the trauma he faced and the daddy issues ig?

I thought PRU would have used more aspects of season 2 as well. Zordon stated that Tommy didn't have enough power to pilot a new zord which would explain the absence of Xev's zord. I thought we would at least see them being created maybe a new combination. I expected a white light connection too. Maybe it was created by/from them or left as a tribute to honor them by the Morphin Masters. I thought this planet would end up being where Tommy was sent to get the white light instead of being Earth.
these are all such good ideas (i especially love the concept of Xev's zord being the Thunderzord Tommy would have gotten if he was at full power) i'm screaming into my pillow at the missed opportunities
That being said your idea of the Morphin Masters creating the White Light made me stop in my tracks like. This series honestly had the Morphin Master society as very hands-off on the creation of the rangers. Ori starts developing the concept by accident when they share power specifically in the unique and isolated incident of helping Phantom Ranger, implying this was never theorized or worked on beforehand, and then they die without any indication they passed on this knowledge to their families/greater society. Just the weird implication from Aleia that she (or the entire group?) would create them.
Which is partly why there's such a big debate on whether or not the Squadron Rangers became Emissaries at the end or not, because that would mean technically the EMISSARIES created the Power Rangers, when it was supposed to be the Morphin Masters. Or if they became the Morphin Masters that we know created the powers, they're just....DIFFERENT Morphin Masters than what their society was. idk. Maybe I'm thinking too hard, but maybe they just made this way more complicated than it should be lol
