Chapter 14: The weird ship (2)
Silver shook his head and tried to calm him down. "Nah Sam. I don't think that anyone is on that ship anymore. And even if...then me and the others will protect ya.", smiled the cyborg. "Mr. Silver!", called Captain Amelia. The two males turned around and went to the group. "You, Dr. Doppler and two other crew members will go and observe this wracked ship.", the feline said to Silver. "Ma'am.", said Sam and took a step forward. "I want to go with them. I want to go on that ship.", he finished. Amelia looked at him with a stern and questioning look. "Me too!", said Jim and stood next to Sam. "Don't worry capt'n. I'll keep an eye on them.", assured Silver. "Y-yeah. Me too.", stuttered Doppler. Amelia thought for another minute before she nodded. "Mr. Scroop, Mr. Snuff. The two of you go with them.", she ordered and left the group. The others made the longboats ready while Sam emptied his bag of clothes to take it with him. After five minutes they were all sitting in a longboat to observe the ship. They jumped on deck and looked around. "Impressive.", stated Doppler. "It's like they just disappeared." Sam looked around, nervously fiddling with his fingers. Silver put his hand on the teens shoulder and nodded. "Alright. I think it would be smarter to split up. Jim and me, Sam and Mr. Silver and...you two.", the canine said and pointed at Scroop and Snuff. Scroop shook his head and left downstairs to the galley, alone. Snuff went to the quarters, Jim and the doctor made their way to the bridge and the other two pirates took the engine room. Sam looked around while they walked past some office rooms. Silver stood in the door of one office and scanned the room while Sam walked to the end of the hallway. When the cyborg looked back to his youngest he saw that the teen just stood there. "Pup?", said Silver and approached him. He saw what the teen saw and hugged Sammy. In front of them were two cells with chains on the walls. The chains in one of them were broken and scratch marks were on the floor and the bars. "That's the ship...where they transported me to that planet.", whispered Sam. They stood there for another five minutes before they heard Doppler who called out for them to come to the bridge. The two males went to them and looked around the big room. "It seems like they really just disappeared...", said Jim when his friend entered the room. "And look at that." He pointed on a pile of files and loose documents on the ground. Sam kneeled next to Doppler, who looked through them and did the same. His eyes widened and he started to sweat. He looked around and saw that nobody watched him and packed something in his bag. Shortly after that Scroop succeeded that they should leave since nobody was in there. They climbed in the longboat and flew back to the Legacy. "So? Was there anything interesting?", asked Amelia once they all stood in front of her. "Well...there were a whole lot of files and documents about children and tests they did on them.", said Doppler with a sad look. "We will call the royal navy and leave it to them. Anything else?" Silver took a step forward, "Deeper down in ta ship are offices and two cells.", the cyborg said. Amelia nodded again and left to call the royal navy while Silver pulled Sammy to the side. "Pup...was there anything about ya?", he whispered. "No.", said the teen and shook his head. "And your friend? Anything about him?" He shook his head again while tears formed in the corner of his eyes. Silver hugged him and assured him that everything will be fine. Amelia came out of the bridge and told us that the royal navy is on their way and that they could continue their journey. With that they all went to work again which meant for the cabin boys to finish the dishes.
