Granted Superhero movies were not always cream of the crop of writing, but I feel like the earlier Marvel movies at least had some semblance of a theme which tied the plot, characters, and action together into a coherent story.
Am I the only one who feels some of the newer content is just random (sometimes poorly choreographed) fight scenes with special effects with lazy reoccurring lines posing as theme slapped on after the fact, with no structure around the story or character development that supports it??
