Marcia really did and said if he breaks your heart you break his bank balance and i love her for that. I hope she continues to spend all of Logan’s money.
what if succession gets the supernatural treatment and just goes on for like way more seasons than it humanly should? like after season 5 or 6 everyone thinks it’s gonna come to a close, but then some article would pop up like “succession confirmed for 3 more seasons” and everyone pales. gradually the show becomes more and more unhinged and nothing really makes sense. kendall is probably suffering from every mental illness in the book, logan is dead and idk roman probably eats a bit of his flesh enabling his cannibalism arc, and shiv is solely trying to keep the company afloat but failing. tom and greg are of course just being gay for each other in a non-canon way and fans are outraging because they’ve done literally everything romantic short of kissing each other. however, in the final season it’s revealed that greg is like a federal OP who’s entire mission was to bring down waystar and exploit the roys, so he arrests everyone and tom is like “so all of it was fake” and greg just has to look away guiltily, single tear drop falling down his face. this of course springs a bunch of discourse over the legitimacy of tomgreg and maybe during the duration of that whole mess it’s revealed nicholas braun has a twitter dedicated to reblogging tomgreg fanart.
*me while losing my grip on reality* no but Roman is the saint (“can’t fuck”/“scared of pussy”) and Kendall is the whore (“heard you bent for him”/“don’t want him dead in some french fag’s pool”) and they’re so badly fucked in Logan’s eyes just two different sides of the same coin
Oh absolutely, it's the sex-repulsion vs the hypersexuality, the queerness he zeroes in on being their not fucking women and getting fucked by men respectively.
Logan taunts Roman so much specifically on if he wants a kiss from daddy (meanwhile Kendall’s not allowed to be with other guys because they’ll pull his leash wrong, and Shiv is kept in a cupboard until she’s trotted out to be a pretty replacement), and calls him Romulus i.e association with wolves, that I can’t help thinking he hasn’t touched Roman personally but sure as fuck didn’t do a thing to help when Rome was being hurt, and thinks if Roman wants a man to degrade him then surely he might as well fit that role.
rich people are terrifying i dont even know what the fuck was all that
You enjoy being called Romulus and you won’t let people call you anything else because Romulus is strong and powerful and the name of a king- and you are going to be king someday. But then: “Romulus. The wolf child. Want to come and run with the Wolf Pack, wolf child? We’ll take care of you.” and suddenly you can’t bear to be called Romulus anymore, so Roman will do just fine, thank you, because Roman is still strong and powerful but you’re not a wolf, you don’t want to be a wolf, you don’t want the wolves to get you or take care of you because the wolves aren’t your friends even though they pretend to be, they just tear out your insides and shroud it in the idea of solidarity.
put oswald cobblepot in succession and logan roy doesn’t stand a chance
Ohh wait connecting more dots: so I think that Rose killed herself, Connor's mother tried to harm herself after Logan divorced her and in response he had her locked up in a psych ward "for her own good", and he's gonna try to do something similar with Kendall, which is how all of this is going to end up coming out.
Got some strong Logan Roy vibes from Veronica this episode. You gonna try a hostile takeover? Fuck off
Thinking about what Harriet Walter said about Logan seeming exciting, and the way he is with Rhea and Kerry, and I feel like he’s one of those guys who can be very charming at first, makes it look like he can control everything, what Cox said about enjoying strong women, and then when you’re in too deep, he’ll show his abusive/entitled side, and you might not be able to get out.
Yeah, yeah Rome with the dog motif this and with the slime puppies stuff that...
But who do you think is a furry in Succession universe??
Logan's reaction to Ewan supergluing his hand to a Starbucks counter to protest the price of plant-based milk, go!
"Reassured now that they still love you?" "(laughs) Love, fear, whatever."
every man in succession is cringe but let's settle this once and for all: who makes you want to punch something? who gives you the most second hand embarrassment? who takes the cringe crown? VOTE NOW.
Blindfold by Sleeping Wolf is such a Shiv+Logan (cruises and otherwise) song
Ooh yes, "everytime your gravity has a hold on me" and "I know who you are" and how she wants to know the truth but is afraid of it.
Also the way Logan yells and lashes out at Nan when she walks at the end felt unsettlingly like a big red flag 😬
Oh god yeah, the fact that all this comes out and he’s upset about being told no feels like a big glaring sign that this man is a sexual abuser himself.
imagine bullying your adult daughter so hard her bad schizo symptoms come back within a week after being mostly dormant for literal years.. like he’s kind of iconic
