More than a month after the Seventh Season finale, the CW Entertainment Network has cancelled DC’s “Legends Of Tomorrow” series. Below you’ll find the tweet sent out by showrunner Keto Shimizu. I’ll add more later on. Thank you to our fans; your love and passion for our strange band of misfits has made every break, every script, every daily, every cut, and every mix worth all the hard work. Rewatching season 3 is an EXPERIENCE.
Someone please cast Maisie Richardson-Sellers in a pirate movie. A pirate movie in which she has a pirate girlfriend.
talaashe: For a moment in time, I got to play a superhero (the first Muslim-American live-action one at that!). So many time periods, costumes, stories and laughs. God so many laughs. This show changed my life and I will treasure the relationships I made for the rest of my life.
Gutted to not have a proper goodbye with the Legends family, but grateful for the time we had together. Good reminder that we’re not promised anything.
Forever grateful to Phil Klemmer & @marcguggenheim for hiring me, to @gberlanti and Mark Pedowitz for always supporting our unicorn of a show, our genius writers and THE FINEST CREW IN THE BIZ- to everyone who supported us, who “got” our show and our incredible fans- the best of the best. Be kind, love hard ✌🏽❤️🍩
“The world is always ending, Thanos, Apocalypse, whoever crazy villain with a God complex, but I refuse to let them ruin my halloween plans.” Ellie told her friend with a big grin, she was already dressed as Irene Adler and she couldn’t wait to start her party.
This is when the feeling sinks in, and I don’t want to miss you like this.
MIA NILSEN
Age: 30 Gender and pronouns: Female, She/Her Occupation: Owner of Dan’s Sports Bar Neighbourhood: Downtown
BIOGRAPHY
tw: death mention, funeral mention
Mia had been born out of wedlock to two teenagers who didn’t know if they were quite ready to become parents. Her mother left her father, Danny, only a few months after Mia was born. Thus, leaving Danny the sole provider of their only daughter. It was then the man realized how much her truly loved that little girl and swore to do anything and everything to protect her. The 18-year-old took a job at the local fire station and became the father that Mia truly deserved.
For the next five years it was just the two of them. Danny brought Mia to the station during the shifts that he couldn’t find a sitter, and when he could he always promised to be back as soon as he could. Mia may have been the only child, but her godparents had four kids of their own, and she loved each one of them. They saw each other frequently, at BBQs, and movie nights. After all Eli and Danny had been best friends their entire life.
The night that Danny lost his life was a whirlwind for everyone. Mia didn’t remember much, but she did remember Eli coming back to the station in tears and him promising her that everything would be alright. The funeral went by quickly, and it was filled with everyone that Danny had ever met. That day was full of apologies and tears. People telling the 5-year-old how sorry they were, and how much they loved her. Mia, however, didn’t understand much of what was happening. She only knew her father was gone, and he was never going back.
The next few years went by quickly. The Nilsen’s took Mia in as their own, and it took some time to adjust from going to the only child into a family of now five, but she loved it. She loved having siblings, and two parents. Mia loved having a mom for the first time in her life. They treated her as their own, and she even began calling them mom and dad. Two years of going through the harsh adoption process, Mia eventually became a legal Nilsen.
High school went by quickly for Mia. She was the top of her graduating class, and even got a full ride to the local university. Every Sunday she was in high school, Mia spent at her father’s grave. She would catch him up on all of things that happened the past week, and even bring her lunch and eat with him. College came fast, and the frequent visits to his grave stopped unintentionally. Her life became busy, full of friends, and family dinners. Tests and exams became her number one focus for the next four years.
As soon as she graduated, she returned home and bought a townhouse nearby her parents. All the money she saved over the last four years was spent on a sports bar she named after her father, and she takes great pride in.
MIA NILSEN has the face claim of MAISIE RICHARDSON-SELLERS and is played by BRITT
