Here’s a bit more progress on the pillowcase I’m making to match my blanket. I’ve ran out of brown yarn, I used the last of it for one small rectangle which will be attatched with another row soon.

I’ve always wanted some funky dice, so I made some wonky dice out of air dry clay not too long ago. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the finished product at first, but I think I do like them, especially considering they’re my first attempt :)
They definitely couldn’t be use in an official setting, because I they’ve got some biases from being uneven, bumpy and handmade, but they do seem to work decently on a soft flat surface like my bed.
For the process, I first made the general shapes with air dry clay and let them dry. Then I used sandpaper to flatten out the sides and get crisper edges. I also etched the numbers and dots in with a pair of small scissors, though with how many layers of paint I used, the etching is harder to notice now.
The painting process probably took the longest, with me having to paint over them again if I messed up, but I eventually got them to a point where I could say I was finished.
I now keep them in my little froggy pouch that I made last year. They also make a very nice sound when they roll around together <|:^)

i've found this little fella in my backyard
her legs had these projections that made them look like little branches, very stylish
she couldn't fly very well, so I'm afraid she was sick or dying :(((
according to iNaturalist she is a streaked sphinx (Protambulyx strigilis)
