The lyrics are just absolutely heartbreaking, especially after listening to the guys talk about how much they were working all the time and being away from home.

Like fuck me, am I right? Thats the most heartbreakingly real shit I have ever heard. I remember going through this just in the pandemic quarantine, imagine actually being continents away from the person you love? Hearing in someone's voice that they are hurting and want to move on but they cant tell you is the most heartbreaking shit you can go through on either end.

And this chorus, the melody and the lyrics just sync together so perfectly with this longing cry of "are we wasting time" to the more resigned "I feel like we're as close as strangers" oh my god it makes me want to scream and angry cry because this shit hurts.
