I think there are too many shows with protagonists that are unrelatable to me personally. Someone should make a show that caters to me with a protagonist who has similar problems to me.

I wanna make a forum … one day …, I would probably try to keep it small though. I just miss going on forums when I was younger, and Reddit as an attempt as a kind of modern attempt of a somewhat forum site doesn’t do the trick at all due to being it often too concentrated to a singular large forum for certain specific topics. Which ends up with some toxic communities for things you enjoy.
Discord is sometimes too quick even though I still have an account and go on it sometimes. It is from what I have seen not the worst, but at the same time you have the “discord mod” thing for a reason.
And the issue of fueling rage through the algorithm on certain websites such as twitter. In which Elon Musk taking ownership of it and talking about “free speech” in a platform already with people talking about hate and harassing people. plus a million other things.
I just want online to be a fun experience. going back to tumblr again (constantly on and off) reminds me that regardless it feels like the best option out of the other sites, even if it isn’t as popular anymore. I enjoy more of what I like here and generally haven’t ran into as much general bigotry as other sites (not that I never seen it, but not at the extent of Twitter for example).
The internet is getting smaller.
But yeah, the point is making forums. They feel more organized and plus people can get cool signatures underneath each of their post. And what isn’t to love about those? A group of internet friends in middle school made one and we would talk and roleplay sometimes. Which was very comfortable.
So I would love to be apart of a revival of that, or set up a revival of its own. I know being 22 I didn’t experience the full extent of Web 1.0 as I was a young kid when it ended.
I just would need to figure out html but thankfully posts talking about it provided guides and I learned a bit from neopets :) I don’t know a forum probably won’t be something I would make for a bit but I would like to. Unless someone I trust or something makes one of their own.
