reminder to not pick up random feathers off the ground!! feather collecting is a great hobby (i would know, i have over 100 from over 20 species), but picking up random feathers can be very illegal. many native birds are protected by law, and it is illegal to own any organic material from them, including feathers. only collect feathers from places you’re 100% sure the source and species of, and be very sure they’re not contaminated by diseases or parasites. avian flu is a big issue in north america right now, so wild feather collecting should be avoided in all circumstances! be responsible collecting feathers and keep safe :]

Oh my gosh like last month or something my coworker and i were chatting and she didn't believe me when I said I can speak a little Spanish like I'm not good but I can get by kinda I bet my grammer sounds really bad to native speakers and my vocabulary could use some growth but it's fine and she was like hmmm okay like seemingly slightly disbelieving and I was like whatevs I don't have to prove shit and then today she saw a customer come up to me and ask me in Spanish if I spoke Spanish and i was like "ooooooh ummm un poco??👌 yo soy muy mal a español pero mi entendiendo es.... um asi asi??
