Πραγματοποιείται η πρώτη πτήση στην Ελλάδα αεροπλάνου για μη στρατιωτικούς σκοπούς. Το δωδεκαθέσιο αεροσκάφος "ΑΘΗΝΑΙ" τύπου Junkers G 24, που ανήκε στην "Ελληνική Εταιρεία Εναέριων Συγκοινωνιών" απογειώθηκε από το Τατόι και προσγειώθηκε στην Θεσσαλονίκη.
