2 & 20 :)
2: Top 5 all time books
Ok. I'm gonna change this to top 5 all time series because I mainly read fantasy and they are hardly ever stand alone books. And it's easier to rate a complete story than a single book.
1. Kingkiller Chronicles - Patrick Rothfuss
2. Mistborn (era 1) - Brandon Sanderson
3. Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paolini
4. Harry potter - J.K Rowling
5. Lorien Legacies - Pittacus Lore
20: what do I look for in a book
Umm. I love a book that offers an escape (as cheesy as that sounds).. when I first got into reading I hated life and picking up a book and imagining I was ther living that life instead would be my little escape. So any book that gives me that is a plus.
So a book with awesome world building, good character depth, (magic 🥺), (proper fantasy with elves and wizards and shi 🥲)
#omg hello bestie #it was so hard to choose 4 and 5 for that list #and you already went out and bought book 1 from kingkiller 🥺🥺🥺 #so excited for you to read it #also. i fully could have filled the top 5 books with Brandon Sanderson books. he is a master of his craft #all his books are 4* and above in my eyes #not one has dropped below amazing #literally the guru of world building #ahh. inheritance Cycle was like what did it for me when i got into reading #it was like that spark that made me a lover of books #Harry potter had to make the list. it would be incomplete without it #and lorien Legacies was such an unexpected joy #it's aimed at a younger audience. it's based on earth. and it was such a quick easy and enjoyable read #i remember reading that in my early book days and it's a book that's always stuck with me #thank you for the askk!!! :))
