How do you keep yourself motivated to continue Insomnia? I finally started working on a pet project I've been wanting to do for years, but because of school I simply do not have the time to commit on it. Because of this, I'm feeling my motivation kinda fleeing and I don't know how to deal with. Seeing as you've been working on the same comic for so long I thought you might have some advice to spare, so? Thanks in advice if you see this ❤️
It helps to enjoy the story you're writing, but also to figure out how to pace yourself. Especially when you have real life obligations like work and school. I deeeeeefinitely have not always been great about that and I'm still finding a balance now. It can be harder to keep up with a project if it starts feeling like an obligation, or if it's getting to the point where you start feeling anxiety over it. Knowing when to take breaks, or creating a schedule for yourself that's easier to maintain will definitely help (For example maybe work on it every other week.) For probably a year and a half straight when I first started I was doing multi page uploads almost every single weekend, and with a full time job and school around the horizon that became really hard to maintain. It was rough XD Sooo long of the short of it I would say a loose consistent schedule. Also Another thing that helps me personally (though is probably a disorganized way of doing things) is I skip around. Meaning I'll sketch out or will work on future scenes if I'm stuck or tired of the place I'm at. I don't know if this is the beeeest thing but it helps me stay motivated. At the end of the day the goal is to have fun. You are your first audience. So find the little things that help keep it fun for you. Hope that helps X'D

so i decided to hard pivot from ooey gooey bl romance to whatever the fuck is going on in "beyond the tricolored window" or whatever the name is. this show is so fucking horny good god im surprised it never trended but its also about two weird adult men and not moe teenagers so it was an uphill battle

call me a hater but i dont think v really deserved a route if mc doesnt really do anything but exist in it, seeing as how the mc is the main driving force in the developments of other characters, it just feels off that we dont do shit and feel like an unwelcome addition to the drama btwn him and rika
